Well that LRUV x Tangerine Dream is the quickest seed I’ve ever cracked. Fingers crossed it ends up female. If it’s not I’ll keep replacing it with another seed of the same strain until we finally get one.

There will always be a few immature seeds, but if the outermost are ripe, the inner ones are usually not far behind.
If you think they are done, wait a week.

Cheers @ReikoX. I’m not in a hurry for the seeds really. They can take as long as they want as the small tent won’t be needed for at least another 8 weeks maybe when I start my next photoperiod run.

All 8 have sprouted. The GSC and Train wreck are lagging slightly and are just starting to break through the medium. The remaining 6 are reaching for the light. I can’t believe how quickly they germinated.

This waiting lark pisses me off. Was exciting to see the first five and now that I’m waiting on the last two I’m essentially hoping to stare them into sprouting but I did dig and they’re rooting just taking their sweet fackin time… glad they’re turning round for ya bro

Haha yeah. I only stuck them in the dirt a little over 3 days ago. I dunno if it’s the combination of coco and compost along with how warm it is here in the UK at the minute that’s helped but I’ve never had seeds germinate that quickly for me. I’ll give them a week in the small pots then transplant them into my auto pots.

It’s funny ya say that because I thought same usually takes me 2-3 days to see taproots out the seeds but essentially overnight they sprouted, then the next day came out the dirt 
mind bogglin mate which system did u go with for auto pots or did ya DIY it? Feels like I’ve asked this question before but I’m askin anyway

I’m gonna hammer these with mega crop and really push them. I’ve combined the compost and coco so I don’t have to fuck about to much with the ph levels. I’m hoping as compost is buffered it shouldn’t matter as much. PH drift is a nightmare with autopots

Looking forward to see you push them. What do you usually start with once they sprout? And are you just using MC and Epsom for the run or have some other goodies you give.

I’m gonna start around 1.0 ec or 500ppm @cdnBuddy. I’m gonna run them on a single 47 litre rez instead of using the 2 I own. Each rez change I’ll up the ppm by 100 until they start burning.
I don’t think I’ll add the Epsom this time until the final few weeks unless they look like it’s needed. Ill push some Vitalink Buddy into them at the recommended levels on the bottle once we are budding properly and I’ll also add some molasses as I’m using a 50/50 mix of compost and soil and not just straight coco this run. The compost I’m using also feed for up to a month.
I’m struggling a little with heat so Ill dial the lights back to 400w and run them 20/4 until we get cooler weather.

If I went by the breeder stated times they would be taken next week but I’m gonna just let them go an extra week or two and keep a close eye on them.

The Auto NL is supposedly an 12 week auto strain so she still has around 3 weeks (breeder stated times) but I’ll let her go 4 - 5 more weeks.

All fine and well in the lab, but there’s nothing like knowing your plant and what you want from it. Then you can wear the coat and decide. Grow on!

Normally the breeder times for autos are close enough. I only use them as a guide that I’m close to harvest time then I keep an eye on the trichomes and chop when I personally feel they are ready

I’ve been playing around with feed strength, and have been starting around 100-300ppm for sprouts and upping usually weekly and seems to be working well.
When you do your rez change I’d love to see what your feeding strengths are, still having some issues but now it’s lessoning since I have more plants to play with. I think all my plants are getting hit with Mag issues due to the coco and ro water.
