I use regular tap water so the calcium is covered and I usually feed Epsom in small amounts to cover the mag but that is when I grow in straight coco. I’ve not got the time at the moment to keep dropping the ph levels so I’ve decided to add soil/compost to the coco to see if I can get away with not altering ph at all.
They are not as yet in the auto pots but as soon as I mix the first rez I’ll grab a photo of the pen while it’s reading the levels. I’ve got 2 pens that I use as a failsafe. If this works with the compost mix and ph it’ll be a permanent thing in my grow area.

What’s a small amount for epsom? 1/2 tsp per gallon when they show signs of def?
I did read on another form that people using MC were jacking the PH upto 8, and then dropping it for it to become stable. I haven’t tried it yet but will once I nail hand watering down, cause I do want to run the rez, just makes my life so much easier.

Yeah I’ve been adding 1/2 teaspoon to a “UK” gallon (5 litres) each feed I mix up. Maybe a little extreme but it’s worked out ok and no toxicity in the plants.
The thing about ph in coco/hydro you “need” It to swing so it can uptake certain elements that get locked out if the ph sits constantly stable.
Soil doesn’t require as much attention to ph.

Me and @Ghandisflipflop shared everything from the 2 sets equally @cannabissequoia. Im not really fussed what they are. I just hope we get at least one female as they are growing like crazy in the greenhouse. The autos shouldn’t have to much longer remaining other than the Auto NL so they will have more room to spread out soon. I’ll grab a couple of photos later once I get home from work.

We still have a few months of warm/hot weather remaining. Usually around mid September it starts to turn. The 2 critical should do ok as she’s showing her bit but they are fast finishing plants so…

Yeah they are starting to stink. Luckily though there are a row of pine trees just behind the greenhouse and at the moment with the heat it’s kind of still over powering the weed smell @Explorer
