When you gonna flip bro? They’re gonna be tall when they finish!
Flipping in a couple of days. Taking some cuttings then flipping a few days later.
Nice, that’s a good shot. It’s a lot easier to see the variations all together.
Thanks. There is a lot between them too. They seem to be hitting another growth spurt. Placed a barrier between them and the cold floor, so it may be helping.
The ones in the right column look to me most likely to be panama haze phenos. At least a couple on the left look like they have more apical dominance and might be the malawi phenos. The ones in the middle are super interesting. I wonder if they might be short panama haze phenos, which would be really cool.
Plants looks great
Can’t wait to see them flowers.
The ones on the left are the 4 twins. 1 through 4 are in the middle. 5 through 7 on the right.
Twin number 2 is a nice plant. Very similar to 5, 6 and 7. It looks different then it’s twin and the other 2.
Got a barrier between the floor and the plants. They have just been getting cal / mag, sweet and terpenez, They seem to be starting another growth spurt. Possibly the cold floor had slowed them down.
Plant # 3 seems to be struggling since the replant. Not sure why since none of the other plants from that time are.
Plant #2 was struggling, but is seems to be recovering now.
Here is a group shot of the plants.
On the left are the 4 twins.
Mine are starting to show sex now. I’ll take a good look at them this weekend, but I think I have at least 3 males out of 9. These are probably still pretty female heavy, but I think you might have gotten lucky.
That would be great. I really appreciate it. Fingers crossed.
Here is some pictures from the first grow with the Hawaiian Haze. I had 4 sets of twins from 17 seeds that germinated. 5 of the 21 plants flowered and finished early.
They were in soil on May 26th, I was smoking it by the end of August. The others came down mid to late September.
The early ones didn’t yield much, but was some fine smoke.
The two in the back are both male, one tall and one short. The two on the left are looking a good bit like the mom. The short one is cool though, so I might keep/use both males.
I like this girl in the front a lot.
Congratulations!!! That is great there is a couple males. Maybe try a cross with both.
She is a nice looking lady too. Her growth reminds me of one of the twins. I think it may be T1. Looks like heavier growth at the bottom, then spreads out higher up?
As the kids would say, I literally laughed out loud at this post when Austin comes up. Love the Hazes and that @lefthandseeds work. Congrats on the males.
Yea that’s the my PH grew. I think that’s common for sativas these days. If you find some really old school sativas, they usually have narrow leaves from the first set. But Ace’s Panama is almost certainly not pure – which incidentally is part of why the PH is so nice to grow. It’s just tamed enough to make it nice for growing inside.
I took some cuttings off the PH mom today. So hopefully in few weeks I’ll have some clones prepped for taking pollen.
Thanks man! I was getting a bit nervous I wouldn’t have any males… never thought I’d have that problem. But these two are great. I hope the shorty will punch through and make short some haze leaners in the BX2 population.
I wanted to give a quick update since I will be gone this week for work. Some significant changes in the last 5 days.
I added a barrier between the floor and the plants under the tray. 2 days ago, I started their 12/12 cycle. Some of the plants have started another big growth. Everyone got a soil drench last night with Mega Morpheus, Cal / Mag and some Superthrive.
All the plants, with the exception of EDH #2 & #3, have grown 3 to 4 inches. Those two had issues with the up potting. Plant #3 started to recover first, #2 is finally showing the signs of recovering. This week they will just be getting ph’d water until I return on the weekend.
EDH #1 was 17.5 inches on the 10th. Today it is 25 inches.
EDH#7 has grown 5 inches in 5 days to 29 inches.
Twin T2 has grown 7.5 inches to 26.5
Twin T3 also grew 7.5 inches to 24 inches
Plant #4 is really starting to fill out.
Number 3 is finally starting to show signs of recovery.
Group shot of the tent.
Very nice @Old-Ron, love to see them reaching for the sky like that.
Thanks @lefthandseeds. It is much easier when someone gives you good genetics to work with. I appreciate you doing that too.
This little one is the EDH plant that appeared in cup with another plant about a week after it was planted. It struggled for about 4 weeks. The last 2 weeks it has really started growing.
This is the Hawaiian Haze mother I have. Hoping to cross some EDH with one of her clones.
Here is one of her clones. It is about 4 weeks old.
I’ve done some culling today. The final count on mine comes out to a fairly equitable 4 males out of 9. One male that I’ve culled had a nice structure to it, but if you can see in the 2nd picture it has variegation.
In the bottom picture, I’ve kept the 2 males in back that are pretty much polar opposites. The female in front looks the most like the mom of any of the plants. I haven’t quite decided what I’m going to do with her yet, but I don’t have to make up my mind right now anyway.
I’ll probably take clones and flower them out / pollinated them along with my PH clones.
nice looking plants! happy looking, love the tidy cat res too!
