Well I find this pretty cool. In the first picture on the right is a cut of everyday haze (panama haze bx1), and the short one next to it is a clone from my panama haze mom. You can see it has really short node spacing, but foliage identical to the mom.
The rest are all PH clones, one of which I’ll make BX2s with, another I’m going to use Baharak and Chocolate Trip pollen from @PlantShepherd. The EDH clone I think I’ll flower and make some F2s with.
Wanted to give a quick update. The haze in the 5 x 5 flower tent are 49 days into the flip and needed to be staked. Most needed it do to bud density. A couple just because of height as their buds are lighter.
The 3 twins in the tent have the denser buds.
Most of the plants have only added an inch over the last 3 weeks.
Most of her nutrients come from the soil. I add amendments in the beginning and then just water. Add some cal / mag once a week. Once flowering I will add in sweet and some terpenez.
It’s not too surprising to me that some of these would be more N sensitive. Sativas are notorious for clawing if they’re fairly pure/equatorial, and OT haze is in that camp for sure.
I think sometimes when plants get too dry they take up too much nutrient from the soil sucking up what water they can find. I know when traveling, my plants get drier then I like.
I have an EDH clone going in the basement of one that I thought looked like PH, and the stem rub already smells very hazy. Are you getting any smells of this girl yet? It looks to be a pretty equitable hybrid between PH and MxP.
Here’s my panama haze clones, getting close to pollen chuck day. I should have a good number of seeds coming off of these, including the BX2s, which I will be giving out through the pass-it-along program. These seem pretty happy to cruise along at 1.5EC. They’re not terribly difficult to grow in my ebb and flow system, so that’s quite nice.
