hey, everyone. I just transplanted And checked my run-off and the range is between 3,500-4,600. they where in 1gl pots with happy frog. now 3gl pots with ocean forest. amended w\ wormcastings, also threw trace amounts of used dirt & coco-coir. (won’t be doing that again) and never given them any nutes the entire time, also 1wk into flower. The question i have is should i Flush these ladies before they start burning…
Have you calibrated meter lately? Thats about triple my ppm. If it was that high id start with ro. Best of luck to you. Regardless lets see plants in question
Those are both organic soils so high ppm is not a concern because they are not readily available like salt base ferts.
This is why so many growers struggle with ffof. You dont need to feed them until the ppm run off drops. You paid for that good stuff in the soil. Dont flush it out!
even at 4,600? yes pen is good!
How long ago did you transplant? Just because your meter is good doesn’t mean it properly calibrated. Check some distilled water with your meter
Seeing how you added worm casting on top of the worm casting that fox farm already added ( not necessary) then yes 4000 sounds about right.
In the future I wouldnt add anything to ffof other than more perlite or some lime. They use oyster shell as a ph buffer but in my experience that’s not enough.
yeah the pen(s) definitely good ,transplanted yesterday. and yes i will not be touching the soil! looks like I won’t be feeding these ladies anytime soon:fire:

I’d say 3 weeks with no food for sure , then start 1/2 dose every other watering week 4.
absolutely , I’ll use the pen and visualization before their fed again, just wasn’t sure if 4,600 was over the top!
thank you D.D.
4600 does seem really high but with the add castings im not shocked. With that being organic I would do any flushing unless you start to see nute burn.
I’m pretty sure I’m going to see something
Also I’m doing the w.w.w.f.w.w.w.f.schedule
But not this month✌
Hello everybody, just a follow up on the ppm. Turned out to be fine.
And only had to feed once through the entire bloom cycle, 1wk to go and chop-chop.
Just wanted to say thanks to everyone
for good advice
