Hello Dear fellow growers,
I am in desperate need of advice by someone who may has tried the same experiment or who is knowledgeable to give me a good forecast.
The Story;
I have bought and grown F1 seeds (automatic). One of the plant gave me a seed and by that time I was thankful for a spare one. In my next grow I used that one - even though after I have checked some Information - Information is spare by a self pollinated F1 but I knew they say that the F1 Genetic has all positive traits while the next gen will be produced out of the full gene pool of the genetic, meaning it won’t be grown as the used F1 samples.
Now I was eager to give it a try. Fast forward, I started a grow with 3 plants and while I was able to harvest 2 of them, the F1 successor was still slow starting its bloom. In that moment I didn’t realize how slow. I’d say by now the Successor is in bloom for about 4 month - a picture is given below, if you need I’d be able to provide more pictures. The plant is huge and it does show signs of deficiency - I had lots of other trouble this year and sometimes was happy to keep it alive - but it’s really slow in bloom.
Does someone of you have had a similar experiment and can tell me how long their plants took - of course it’s a question by gene pool and strain.
Is someone able to see the state of the plant - it started to bulk the buds - but by 4 months I feel like I can expect another 2 / 3 month for the plant to finish - would you agree ?
For me its hard to maintain 40% RLF for longer then 4 weeks. Id be fine with 6. Hell even 8 but everything above is too slow.
Since I am almost quite sure for myself that this plant will take forever, I am considering ending this experiment to give some predictable plants room. What are the coolest option for the unfinished buds - Oil? Hash? Other suggestions?
I’d be very happy to collaborate collectively. Since my government decided to publish their plans about the future - focusing on AI crawling in the web for data and other crazy surveillance Ideas I am not so happy to share full plant pictures or setup pictures even though I’d love to.
