hi yes ive several leds but still prefer my mh/hps and best crops are still under the hps.led is ok in warmer weather but rubbish in winter here,its no cheaper either as i have to also run a heater 24hrs as opposed to 12hr using the hps,cheers

hi all well some 10 days since the last picture update and flowering is going pretty well and i took a bunch of pics from all 3 drobes taken tonight and even got them with no horrid hps! the grape ape x ghost train haze pair are both bulking up now and 1 smells like sweaty socks the other like cold roast beef but both are very sticky.
the blue venom and bangi haze (not haze at all) blue venom has been flowering 10 days longer than bangi haze not haze hence such different growth,bv smells heavenly even this early,the bangi haze not haze has zero smell so far.
in the tiny veg cab im not doing so well with the seeds and only one of the 4 barneys critical kush have germed and none of the glookies im guessing there a bit old and possibly badly stored.
also found in my seed stash a single barneys farm tangerine dream no1 dated 2011 so def long shot but soaked it overnight and was still floating but a tap and it sunk and stayed sunk meaning it may possibly be viable,we shall see.

hi all i took some pics tonight but was cross finding the timer fecked up because some bloody kid decided his phone was more important than my drobe and unplugged it! they been told before as well,gggrr.
other than that i found out leaving nutrient out to freeze and then defrost buggers it right up,only after 3 weeks of puzzlement not understanding fading early foliage then it occured to me,new bought myself scolded and nutes stored elsewhere from now on.
got pics before hps came on as well! no clue on flower times etc reay when they fall over works for me.cheers all

hi horse,its the 2nd time the same grandson has done it as well and we are not allowed to slap them anymore i damn well felt like it i can tell you!
well still doing shite with germing seeds and dug out the latest purchase and sown 3 santa marta haze from seedstockers and just hope they are what they say they are this time as last seedstockers grow had 3 radically different offspring and only 1 was vaguely like amnesia haze!,not one of the ssdd f3 germed at all but i guess they are a few years old and the missus unplugged the small fridge the weed and seeds was in and i reckon they just got to warm,buggered either way.
on the bright side i do have a single barneys critical kush vegging as new motherplant in a small airpot so not barren zone in veg cab and i do look forward to getting clones going again i miss me clones,cheers for looking in.peace,

hi all well im still alive and some of the plants are sort of ok,some not so well it seems using nutrient that has been frozen really fucks it up! i put my glasses on and saw the A part of the nutrient (dutch pro grow for hardwater) so chemical nutes has gone green! i guess its now given the plants fed with it some kind of plant food poisoning which is why a couple look horrid,its been a week since i replaced the fucked nutes and 3 out of the 4 have recovered the new growth but the one obvious sicky is not happy!
i took a few pics but there not greatly interesting yet.
only just got the last harvest in jars or oiled burping jars atm and my bedroom smells bloody amazing like a good coffee shop about 6 different strains all exuding odour and mixing together is quite a lot nicer than mr fugly farts!

I wish I could blame the way my plants look on something like frozen nutes, I think yours look pretty nice. 
At least yours don’t germ, and don’t waste your time and coco! I’ve been having troubles too. They germ fine, and pop right up, look great for a few days, then keel right over. It’s like damping off, but not at the coco line. It’s higher up the stalk. It’s always something!
And, if you want more SSDD F2 or F3’s, just holler

hi horse thats what the autos all did and someone reckons its some pot clap or something hlvd its even carried over into seeds and dont kill adult plants but stunts them and does kill seedlings,not something i claim to know about but did see a thread on here once which i meant to read and forgot,search is not great here! btw we have some small action over at tgc even a couple of new diarys be nice for you to pop in again,take car and better luck next sowing aye?cheers

right well some time later,no idea how long these been vegging seems ages! none have even been topped once yet odd as normally by now they would have been topped several times but due to my screw up and recovery time its not happened so im now waiting for them to have a good bunch of cloneable stems and will clone them and then be a few weeks under the net as it will likely be single plant per drobe and all scrogged so long veg needed,its boring as hell nothing flowering!

hi all well another week of vegging and a few dozen manky leaves and low stems have been removed and new growth has mostly turned around and green so this week will be cloning time,i require only a few for the next run and have promised some to a good cause for a friend in need,i hate having lots of clones it worries the heck out of me so those will be priority and mine will be clones of those clones 
thats because veg cab is so small.

right well quick update about a week since last pics and some nice growth so i had a think,a spliff or 2 and had a cunning plan! i had noticed the 2 blue venom are very different phenos as in one is very short bushy (not topped) and has short internodes and the other the complete opposite and having dealt with this before and fucking hated it in a scrog sharing a net they just do not co operate,
so i made an executive decision and mixed things up by just finding the most alike and putting them together re growth pattern rather than strains.
all things staying as they are it should be easy run with this lot they will likely get another 10-15 days training on the scrog net before flip for flowering,tonight is pruners out night and some plants are going to loose some limbs! anyhow im now in need of a spliff and a piss and maybe a cup of tea,mullien or mullen tea an old friend from tgc forum no1 dude bill put me on to for helping treat my copd and asthma and both myself and tina think it works,i even stopped the docs pills that give me belly ache and just drinking the mullien herb tea,they say you can smoke it but ive not yet been brave enough to try it!
bought some seeds and sown and have a bed prepped in the garden,grow my own meds! verbascum thapsus for anyone interested,

hi all well have broken my curse!i spent weeks not getting clones to root and was down about it crazy really but was trying i even used rooting hormone and a propogator with heat mat and all died,threw out the fecking lot ,prop and all and got a pot of moist coco jammed in some last ditch ropey cuts and bunged a plastic bag over them and lo and behold 10 days later i have roots out the drain holes! 2 blue venom is a good start.
ive worked out my ph pen is fecked despite recalibrating it is miles out and decided im better off guessing as i cannot afford a new one atm after having to spend rather a lot on a new windscreen for the old volvo ready for a birthday (60th) trackday at goodwood race track on the 16th of march and as my tina done her bit and paid i got to do mine and get car ready,not driven track for 35 yrs but should be fun and be nice to see what the 30yr old 850 can do after all my work without getting a speeding ticket!
anyhow plants still looking ropey due to ph but still alive and growing,theres pics here sorry some are with the mh light on but its better than hps pics,barely!thanks for looking in and if you read this far bless you

well to add to the stresses this grow has to put up with they now have spidermite,sickly plants attract them so i have so far given 2 thorough sprays of permethrin at .5ml per ltr and they will get another in another 3 days,break the cycle then once you regain plant health the ailments should cease,so less than 2 weeks into flower and have had fucked up ph and spidermite ,o and the electric went off for an unknown amount of time and screwed up all bar 1 of my 4 timers,clockwork see and not digital due to early death of any digital gizmo around me!
i have done much in the scrog training ie lollipoping and redirecting stems and if they recover im hopeful,they have about ten days to recover or its off with there heads and in with new clones.
in my defence ive not been well neither is tina and i been very busy with the car and getting ready for my 60th birthday pressie from tina i have a trackday with the volvo at goodwood on the 16th of march so it needed finishing,all done now and just hope i do not blow it up or crash it badly! she would kill me after so much time and money!

Mites are a real kick in the teeth. I make sure to brush myself off before entering the grow. Been seven years since I seen a frigging spider mite in there.
hi all well shortly i have to decide if im giving up on the 2 plants in my smaller drobe as i have tried everything threw the fucking lot at them and still they look like a bag of shite with decline in growth of foliage yellowing and very brittle so much so theres been no bending or tucking under the net as stems broke, ph is right going by 2 seperate meters,feed is same as ever dutch pro bloom at 1.5ec temps spot on 20-28c rh average is 50% in 9ltr airpots of coco.
ive added some liquid silicon trying to pick them up to no avail,so do you think they have the clap?plant pox? got rid of the spidermites i think about 7 days ago but no decent new growth buds are tiny fluffy shite at 5ish weeks 12/12 so is it this hlvd hop latent viroid disease?
i read up on it and sure sounds bad,even in the seeds so how do we tell for sure? do i carry on wasting time/money etc or just give up and cull the fuckers?

I see hob goblins. And by that I think it’s mites or thrips? Hard to tell from back here, but some kind of parasite. I’d definitely get them tested if there is any question about viroids! I would bet cash on mites. I can smell them from here. Little buggers.

hi all firstly sorry for the lack of updates ,so much has happened and most of it not good.
as i said before we lost my beloved mutt after nearly 15 years and it hit me like a fucking bus i let the grow go bad sick as fuck plants that are a disgrace so much so i cannot bare to even take photos and this is after buying new nutrient,new ph meter i could barely afford and 3-4 sprays of 2 different mitecides they still look horrid but are sort of growing,the daughter is down for the week with the grandsons so drobe room is full of there stuff and cant do much so just open throw some nutes in and close the drobes,still not convinced the problem is just mites as the clones of them are showing no mites even with me glasses on but are still fragile and sickly stems snap far too easy and foliage ages very fast,if you not heard of this hlvd hop latent viroid disease just do a google search and read up and the problem is seious as nearly all commercial weed and seeds sold are infected with hlvd some 80% of the colorado dispensarys have tested positive and nothing yet to treat it,these sure look like the pics and images online,so a cull after harvest and germing tests on my oldest seeds which are not going to be infected. so pretty glum and down atm and my poor tina is still in masses of pain awaiting nhs treatment whenever and if ever they get around to her.
on the brighter side im lucky enough to still have a good few jars of weed not all of which has seeds in,not smoking much either now just odd spliff and me pipe,cheers all

Life can be a real kick in the balls sometimes! It’s always darkest before the dawn. My dog was 17!! I really recommend testing the plants, but, if they are doing shitty then perhaps it’s time to get rid of them anyways. Some day I might have time to fuck around with the viroid, I’d like to figure out how to kill it off.
