Farmer fenris grow log

Hey everyone, I’m new to overgrow but wanted to start documenting some of my garden as I go along. Started indoor growing about a year ago so still getting the hang of everything, but have about 5 years garden veggie experience.
Running a 4x4 tent with an hlg blackbird and some racks with led bar lights in a dedicated room.
Plants are in some homemade soil and compost mix in 15 gal pots and currently running some bodhi strains.

This was from last week and the plants were flipped a few days prior to that. Back left is the soul food and the other three and twin flame V2. Definitely seeing more differences now that they are starting to stretch.

Ah fellow HLG brethren! How do you like that blackbird?

It’s definitely a stronger light than I was used to and fried a few seedling running it full power to closely but I do like it a lot now haha

Yeah it’s definitely a learning curve coming from lesser lights. When I first got my scorpion diablo I maxed out at 400w I was too nervous to give my plants all that horsepower lol

You’re plants look great though brother!

Welcome to OG!

This is my first run with photos so if anyone has advice or notices something off feel free to let me know. Started with 4 soul food but 3 ended up males and twin flame were 3/3 female. Today is day 12 since flip.

I took a clone off each girl before flipping and got my first successful clones growing

First up is the lone soul food. She seemed a bit more picky in veg and the slowest of the bunch to start but could have been a bit overwatered. Since up potting and flip she’s much happier and stretching the most currently.

Twin flame v2 A

She is the shortest of the bunch but one of my favs. All through veg she was the easiest plant to care for and was always happy with whatever I threw at it.

This one almost didn’t make the cut because I was holding out hope for another soul food to be female. Glad I gave it a chance though as she is now the biggest of the bunch. Here they were 3 days before flip.

And bonus pic of my male plant removal team lol

Looking good! I’ll be following along to watch the Soul Food, haven’t seen any grow logs on that one. Planning to get into my pack of it soon…
Cool to see a side by side of plants with same mom, different dad. Any noteworthy differences in smells or anything? Pics look pretty similar between the two varieties.

Hey thanks! There’s some difference in structure I’ve noticed a bit. The twins are a bit more dense and bushy and I can tell they smell different but not much else so far.

Day 21 update

Gave the plants a light feed of top dress and some worm casting. Cleared up some of the lower branches and leaves for airflow since it’s getting a bit fuller in the tent now. Not sure if I should remove more from the middle yet.

Been a bit so time for an update I think. It’s day 31 and things are starting to get going. I’ve been pretty hands off besides watering lately, the outdoor garden has been taking most my attention getting everything prepped for cooler weather.

The outdoor garden is starting to produce again now that it’s cooling down just a bit. Mainly just getting peppers and okra through all the hot weather with a few tomatoes thrown in.

Good morning everyone,
It’s about day 41 for this little update and I’m starting to think about the next go around already. I’ll definitely be using a few clones from this round but I went ahead and popped 3 garlic mints x lavender lemonade freebies to hopefully add in to the mix.

The twin flames are showing two different expressions which is cool to compare. First ones the big stretcher of the bunch with some real wide leaves and more internodal spacing.

Second ones short and squat with lots of thinner leaves.
One of the twin flames is yellowing up a bit and I’m not really sure what’s going on with her at this point if it’s a deficiency or to much of something.

Don’t have another to compare with but really liking how the soul food is stacking up. Still got a ways to go but I’m excited to see how it ends up.

Nice work man plants look great. I love your choice of strains too. These next 4-6 weeks are the best, I’ll be watching. :beers:

I’ll bet she’s just a hungry plant. Its been common for me to have phenos that are hungrier than the rest. With that said she looks good, I would probably keep doing what you’ve been doing if I were in your shoes.

Day 54 and things are coming along nicely for the most part.

TF2 A is going to need some support she just started flopping over, so I’ll try and get some stakes in there tonight

Morning everyone,
Day 62 and getting closer to the finish line day by day. Soul food is looking like the quickest finisher but it all still has a bit of time to go.

For the next grow cycle I popped 4 peach hashplant and 3 garlic mints x lavender lemonade. Couldn’t make my mind up so the peaches are a bit behind but I think it’ll be fine.
