Ummmmm… @Pigeonman

Still there bro? You didn’t blow away or anything like that did you?

bahahaha!

Nope still here. Frustratingly the storm broke up a little from the big city so I got 1mm tops with a light show and the tank didn’t even show much of a raise of the water level for it.

Inside now it’s just the mothers and the rooted cuts. The second seed run is done as well and it’s been so brutal I’ve just left them dry where they stand. While they look sad as fuck it’s soon dry trim while still rooted time I guess.

The heat and humidity for so long really fucked with everything inside so I’m gonna clean up the seed runs while keeping the moms going and ever working on damage control.

Outside though took it all like a champ and will just need extra feeding to help with their stress.

Fucking love that parrot @GallacreekD66 !

It’s a segway but another great bird is the Grey from Hatebeak:

I’ve been a bit sluggish in the getting shit done department as I was dealing with mental health hiccups related to the 3 day vision quest of heat and other factors. Feeling much better today and hoping to actually getting more done with the inside plants.

I need to tend to the mothers and assess the damages, and loses badly.
I need to up pot the new mother badly.
I need to deal with drying and shucking 33 plants worth of F1 seeds badly.
I need to clean the 4x4 and set up it’s new lighting.
I need to clean the 2x4 and spread the moms in there.
I need to clean the 2x4 mom tent.

Things will work out, I just need to take it a step at a time but also while preparing for a 5am-4pm market day this up coming Saturday.

As they say in the stunt crew:

I managed to get some fuel in my mental tank and pushed hard with the puttering to-do list yesterday which included a lot of cleaning and washing.

2x2 tent with back-ups and the Moms that need extra care after the heatwave. Pink Kush and Cap Junky are the 2 moms in here. I have a backup of cap in a cup but not pink yet.

In the 2x4 AC infinity tent are all the solos from the 2x2. Later today I will bring down the solos from upstairs. I need to make selections for moms and then figure out the others.

I got a bunch of 3ft 3000K shop light bars of amazon before they went up in price so I can build more plant shelves; but they also make for instant bar lights with a little scrap wood and a screwdriver.

The moms are totally overgrown. Once I get all the solo’s downstairs I’ll have room to take 2x cuts of each mom and root out as a fresh mom.

This recent heat wave really fucked up some of the plants so I don’t want to risk not having spares around as I’ve already lost: Coastal Blueberry (I have more seeds so it’s okay) and Frankie (Spare held by @THCeed right now so I’m safe)

This is what it took to deal and try to dry 33 seeded/flower plants in a heat wave with 75%+ RH.

Dehumidifier’s hot air is blown into the tent which is blown down into the bags which is circulated by the box fan which is also vented straight outside via 2x 6" exhaust fans.

It’s working though!

These trays are the closest to dry enough for seed separation. It’s all gonna be dusted and then a hash run as this was all about a major selection of F1’s.

And now to go look after outside after a bong.

It makes me happy to see you get happy with the gardening. It makes me want to tend to the garden too. Good stuff as always buddy

I only had to deal with a dozen or so paper bags filled with seeded bud and I was still feelin the pressure :joy: humidity was killer down here too.

I’m tending on the plants outside here, just got done watering. Might chop the BOH cause I need smoke and they look and smell soooo tasty when I water :drooling_face:
Makes me wanna eat an orange

Hope your day is nice

Thanks @Oldtimerunderground !

So far so good with the day but the thunderstorm + rain prediction for this afternoon and entire morning tomorrow has now upgraded to NOTHING.

Fuck that. I want rain every day for around 1 hour from now until august so I can stop working out even more than I currently am.

I have three of the Cap Junkies growing in the garden out back. They are all getting really big, but one of them I noticed, has red in the stem everywhere. The other two have no red at all.

Maybe the red is from that rainbow in the picture.

It’s a miracle, like magnets!

WOOT WOOT!

Heat wave makes it hard to update the indoors thread but I did push today and got the SCBB x “____” strains all de-stemmed and broken up with seeds to boot!

I’ve got a fuck load of F2 runs infront of me before I’ll have the inventory for “Pigeonman’s Birb Seed”.

They are back in the lunch bags to keep drying out and should do so faster now that they have all been crumbled.

Tomorrow I’ll do the NWHP cross run and :crossed_fingers: that the pollen was still viable.

It’s still 27c inside and 20c outside. It’s hard to get the hot air out of here but things should settle down as it’s peaking at 25c tomorrow.

Stay cool my man! My wife and I have been using these to sleep and keep our body temps regulated. They work great and are cheap. They freeze so fast, when one is done cooling, the other is ready.

This 115 year old house doesn’t stay cool enough upstairs in the bedrooms.

Thanks for the tip bud this is super helpful! The fans help but after more that 2 nights of 27c+ my body isn’t functioning right including digestion issues and the mind is clearly fogged.

Last night was 3hrs of intermittent naps from trying to sleep from 12am through 9am. 9 hours of not rest and today was very difficult.

I’m gonna look into these things on my side of the imaginary line and hope for the best  :+1:

In more desperate times, of similar need, I used to pre-freeze wet rolled t-shirts for a cheap, if less effective, remedy.

Hope you get some rest, dude.

Stay up

A couple of friends in their 80’s with health complications are getting a presant today as they love to bake.

Sous-vide @ 190 for 4 hours then let to sit overnight as the water cooled. I then heated it to 100 and then poured it out like a milk bag through a double sieve to then go into the mini bunt cake molds.

28g of UK Cheese flower into 2 cups of butter.

It should do them well for a while, i put a little in my coffee this am and felt the edge melt away after 15min.

@Foreigner thanks for the butter making advice as i used .any of the tips you gave me into the sous vide method i ended up going with.

Tbh i couldnt with the heat imagine boiting a pot of water in the house right now so i went lower a d slower so the kitchen fan would make the extra heat a wash.

You’re very welcome it’s a solid move. Looks like it turned out nicely.

Get a five galoon bucket of water. And a bath towel. Soak the towel and put one ebnd in the bucket of water and drape the other end over edge of the bucket. Makes a big difference in RH.

Those artic air things are awesome. I have one of the little box versions that’s maybe 6 in x 6in and it keeps my room nice and cool when the ac goes out. Only issue is the humidity because it literally just blows cold water out
