Favorite candy?

Just restocked my candy stash and wanted to see what you folks enjoy…I always need some sweet, salty, sour, and chocolatey for full satisfaction. Original Reese’s are my all-time favorite with nerds holding down the second position.

My favorite is twix but Reese’s cups are a close second as far as commercial candy. My mother makes home-made caramels that are hard to beat.

Reese’s pieces, junior mints, “whoppers” chocolate-covered malted milk balls
Honorary mention (because they’re not candy, but still fun to eat when stoned) - sunflower seeds

Nice man homemade always wins in my book whether it’s candy or regular food. I’ve got a bit of a sweet tooth and would overdo it as a kid on Halloween just devouring sweets.

Yeah good point with sunflower seeds and the simple stuff is usually best… I think fresh picked blueberries and blackberries are my favorite.

A Medjool stuffed with a nut (pecan), and a chunk of 100% dark chocolate.

That reminds me…. I found a series of “energy balls” recipes that are made from a base of dates and nuts. Natures power bar, basically. There’s one with fresh lemon zest and dried cranberries that are pretty awesome, and they’re rolled in coconut.

Tried one of these yesterday, REALLY good but there’s no way I’m regularly paying $9.95 for a chocolate bar this small

Sheesh that’s pricey maybe it’s the pistachio jacking up the price

I can’t imagine how costly it must be to make one, there’s A LOT going on in a Dubai chocolate bar. It’s not just hollow chocolate with some shit squirted into it, it’s very “textural”

That is a huge batch of future diabetes…but…I love sour Skittles, especially since they brought back the lime instead of green apple…and those nerds gummys are oddly good…crunchy and chewy.
I’m 59 now and I watch my sugar intake, so it’s a treat to get a bag of candy.
