A lot of people say that right before being an asshole also.

Do you think that corporate cannabis is working like this?

probably more sophisticated, using spouses to shield themselves from legal scrutiny et al

How something is said is more important than what is actually being said. The tone can negate any beneficial knowledge within the message. It took decades of upsetting people before I realized this. I think any discussion should be genuine and beneficial for all, not just for one.

Also this was from yesterday

This is just a start of the crack down on CBD AKA delta 8 THC.
Y’all said it was not gonna happen but it is ramping up now.

All the letters said the companies’ products were unapproved new drugs sold in violation of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act.

FDA’s announcement that it is seeking additional authorities to regulate cannabidiol (CBD) products.

  1. I’d rather see Decriminalization than Legalization. I don’t want to pay to license back my right to choose for my own body. I just want to stop being prosecuted for exercising that right, and I don’t think this is a trivial distinction.
  2. Decriminalization? Absolutely? Legalization? That’s just one more reason for the feds to have their fingers in your ass.
  3. If any of the Eugenicist ventures are attached, I will not be.
  4. For state profits? For medical places acting like ghetto hang outs? It’s been a boon. But however much the state taxes, they make the free market alternative immediately at least that much cheaper. Not a great incentive for anyone actually on medical with a limited or fixed income.
  5. Yes, for arbitrary things like amounts measured by people who don’t understand how to measure “usable material” and police unions have a straight up cash incentive to keep it this way. They are in fact one of the biggest anti-legalization lobbies.

Sometimes when they’re on sale, it costs me $120 to buy 8 live resin carts with tax and delivery(even cheaper with promo codes). This costs around $583(also with sale)+no delivery in another state that is also legal. Something to think about.

I believe ny is also on the list of delta 8 crack down. They have also made it so any cbd products need to be lab tested certified. Gone are days of buying isolate mixing with mct oil and selling it.

Summary of why? Or the same old reasons

This entire 1000 post thread can be summarized as

We wont open up until we are setup

and

you are not

Same old reasons, the questioning from the committee was gross. People have their minds made up regardless of what scientific info provided. The thing that stands out is the words, “marijuana is an addiction”, experts testifying other, experts proved, gateway drug, again bullshit. Oh, they want the tax dollars but the restrictions are archaic . Yes, Pennsylvania wants to control what you can buy, but the main question as to why we’re here, they do not want us to grow.
Im buzzed, excuse my words, I could care less what the f**k they do, im gonna do what I need to have quality of life. Sorry for rambling.

Cracking down on CBD and cracking down on Delta 8 (and Delta 10) THC are two totally different things. Not the same at all.

No doubt the testing is a burden, but it seems to me there’s pretty sound reasoning behind requiring testing. Mostly the risk of heavy metals contamination, not to mention other things.

Hmm?
I will have to disagree with you here.
Both are made from hemp.
“concentrated amounts of delta-8 THC are typically manufactured from hemp-derived cannabidiol (CBD)” .

I am sure they will be handled as 2 different drugs if that is what you are saying.
You can decide if it is the same thing or not, but I know what the Govt. will say.
This is what they have already said…

Both will require FDA approval maybe separately maybe under 1 umbrella like hemp.

My point is they will not be allowing you to market any unapproved drugs, food additives or skin creams legally without FDA approval.
The current model will not be business as usual and/or may not be allowed to continue to operate unless obtained through a pharmacy like Georgia is doing.
Personally, I think Georgia is the one to watch when it comes to low THC oil.

Now your catching on to their plan.
They want all of the money… :money_mouth_face: :money_mouth_face: :money_mouth_face:
The war on home growing is real.

From the link provided by @yardgrazer
This makes my case for me.
“There is substantial discrepancy between the product label claims for CBD potency and the amount measured in both edible and topical products, underscoring the need for tight regulations for CBD product label integrity to protect consumers.”

This tells me the need is there and CBD regulations will change in such a way to protect consumers.
It will need to be FDA approved.
How they will handle a synthetic form of THC is unknown but it will be handled as an intoxicating substance that is for sure.
Probably move to sch. 3 if that is where cannabis derived THC goes to but that is just a guess.
