But will it interact and increase testosterone levels. Hehehe
Funny you should say this…
Exposure to CBD is associated with a reduction in mammalian testis size, the number of germ and Sertoli cells in spermatogenesis, fertilization rates, and plasma concentrations of hypothalamic, pituitary and gonadal hormones. Moreover, chronic doses of CBD have impaired sexual behavior in mice.
CBD was not associated with an increased prevalence of elevation of LT or low levels of TT in men. Furthermore, CBD administration decreased DD and was associated with a lower prevalence of low testosterone levels in older men as compared to age-adjusted population norms.

I quit 11 months ago cause fckkk that.
Vermont’s Control Board effectively banned Delta 8 and Delta 10 by emergency rule earlier this year (2023).
Thanks for the link.
It would seem that even where the state is falling short on enforcement the Cannabis Control Board is calling for a ban on these products.
Just a thought, the thc9 market doesn’t want competition from these products. This is especially true since they don’t have the same regulations
Funny…I was just reading that…
Michigan has legalized all derivatives, cannabinoids, and isomers of hemp including all tetrahydrocannabinols other than Delta 9 THC.
I collected signatures to get an retail opt-in question on the ballot and it was funny how many people asked why we would need to vote when it was already legal to sell (it wasn’t legal to sell yet).
You don’t hear much about this but it would seems that FDA approved CBD has already been taken totally off the control substances list.
While drugs have been rescheduled and even descheduled in the past – the most relevant example being Epidiolex, the hemp-derived, CBD-rich epilepsy treatment that the DEA classified as a Schedule 5 drug in 2018 before removing it from the Controlled Substances Act (CSA) entirely in 2020
Downgrading cannabis from Schedule 1 to Schedule 3 of the CSA, which permits doctors and DEA-licensed pharmacies to provide FDA-approved drugs such as anabolic steroids, ketamine and Tylenol with codeine, might raise more questions than answers for an industry that largely operates independently of physicians and mainstream pharmacies.
“It may be a halfway victory for the industry” if, suddenly, federal authorities insist that doctors must prescribe marijuana like other drugs, observed Joshua Horn of Philadelphia-headquartered law firm Fox Rothschild.
Legal experts noted that the FDA had no intention of legalizing delta-8 when the 2018 Farm Bill was passed, so time’s ticking for the hemp-derived cannabinoids industry.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) warned that delta-8 and similar cannabinoid derivatives, have “psychoactive and intoxicating effects that may be dangerous to consumers” and urged Congress to act and set up regulations. These hemp-derived cannabinoids leave room for the potential of harmful contaminants, the FDA says.

What about THC-H made from hemp but 25 times more potent than Delta 9 THC.
Will this be allowed to continue to be available VIA the farm bill?
What is THC-H?
THCH is part of a new class of compounds that are unofficially called THC+. THCP, THCH, and others like it are super robust and hearty.
THCH is exceptionally potent. It is the second most powerful cannabinoid on the planet.
My point is all of these synthesized cannabinoids will soon be regulated very differently.
10 years ago most folks did not even know you could make THC from CBD hemp.
My man Troutman was on top of that story waay back then.
Folks laughed when he said you could make THC from CBD/hemp.
But now we know he was right, and look at all the synthetic THC we can make from hemp.
Some folks insisted that synthetic cannabinoids would never be considered an analog.
Delta 8 THC is considered an analog of delta 9 THC.
Some states have passed analog laws. What this means is that THCH and other synthetic cannabinoids might be illegal based on the fact that it mimics other illicit compounds.
What is the strongest THC analog?
THCP is the most potent THC analog available today
What do I think will happen with Analog THC?
Will the Govt. allow us to synthesize drugs at home in our basement?
What is an analog drug?
Any controlled substance analogue that is manufactured, formulated, sold, distributed, or marketed with the intent to avoid the provisions of existing drug laws.
Analog drugs are drugs that are chemically similar to illegal narcotic drugs but are available with a valid prescription. Analog drugs include the following: Vicodin, Xanax, Adderall, Percocet, Valium and oxycontin. Possession of analog drugs without a valid prescription is a felony in the State of Michigan .
A controlled substance analogue shall, to the extent intended for human consumption, be treated, for the purposes of any Federal law as a controlled substance in schedule I.
When derived from hemp, THCV probably has the same legal status as ∆9 THC because it is, technically speaking, a form of ∆9 THC. I will discuss the legal status in more depth, below.
DEA’s August 2020 IFR clarified that synthetic THCs still remain
schedule I controlled substances;
Delta-8 THC is also a controlled substance analog under the
Federal Analog Act

From the link below…Utah says…
Industrial Hemp Product is not permitted to be further processed or extracted either
before or after inclusion in a marijuana product by a Medical or Retail Marijuana
Products Manufacturer. This prohibition includes any process that converts an Industrial
Hemp Product, such as CBD isolate, into delta-9, delta-8, delta-10-THC, or other
tetrahydrocannabinol isomers or functional analogs.
This all sounds to me like if the Feds wanted to they could charge anyone with synthetic THC with a felony if they really wanted to do so.
Sure they may not win the case but you could be arrested.
I also think they will officially rule on this in the near future.
The Govt. will not allow intoxicating analogs of THC to be fabricated in the basements and sold in gas stations round the country.
I feel very soon intoxicating analogs of THC will become problematic and the Govt. will be making them officially a controlled substance.
Shag, you are a wealth of information. In California we can grow 6 plants legally. 6 “pound plants” is enough pot to last most a year or three. So i don’t see the money market growing there, especially if Cannabis ever comes off Sched. 1 sometime in the far future. Because synthetics are up industries’ profit alley, Delta’s might be the next big thing (at least among thise who want to get blitzed.) If the capitalists see big profits in synthetics, even with a “typical” list of negative side effects, they could sway government regulations toward legalization of pharmaceutical synthetic pot.
Thanks, that is nice to hear.
Usually, the negative comments are louder than the positives in this thread.
So I thank you again!
Oh, I have no doubt these synth cannabinoids will be used as patented pharma drugs in the future.
They may even be found as groundbreaking.
I just don’t feel they will be available to get high off of at least until the feds do something with Delta 9 THC.
I look at it this way…
If you can get higher from THC-H than you can from Delta 9 and Delta 9 is sched. 1 then we should assume THC-H would be sched. 1 as well.
I mean why would the Govt. allow THC-H and not allow delta 9 THC?
Why would they allow a more potent analog meanwhile not allowing a weaker form of THC?
THC intoxication is the only reason cannabis is still sched. 1
“Why would they allow a more potent analog meanwhile not allowing a weaker form of THC?”
Because the pharma industry can corner that market. When i see all these drug ads on TV for a “happy life” with their long list of side effects, i don’t think health is the real number one concern. More like, as long as it provides some effect, doesn’t kill too many, and makes a big profit, legalize it.
This makes good sense to me.
Currently it is legal but to what end.
Big pharma has the money to lock these down.
There seems to be patents on the methods of converting CBD to delta 8.
I dunno patent law but it would seem to me if you are using this method to convert CBD to THC-8 then you may be in violation of one or more patents.
How much of the CBD that is made today, is made in violation of these patents?
I would bet most of it is made in violation of these patents.
Do you think the companies that own these patents will allow these type of violations to continue in the future?
I do not.
When they have had enough they will act.
Do large companies usually walk away from large sums of money?
Not usually, therfore once they see the amount of money they are losing they will put their foot down and then capture the market.
This is what these big companies do.
Before long you will find a company like Bayer will be in control of this and other patents.
Looks like CanadaBis Capital Inc. (TSXV:CANB)is currently in control of this patent.
Note the patent below.
It is for converting converting CBD to Δ8-THC or Δ9-THC.
Do you think we will be allowed to convert CBD into Δ9-THC legally in our basement?
Will all of the illegal states start doing this?
@Cormoran this may be a good idea for people in your situation.
Get a gallon of CBD oil convert it to Δ9-THC and if it was pure enough you may even hallucinate…LOL
Just use the method in the patent and you should be good, I did not read it but it can’t be that hard just a bunch of acids and such.
I have heard pure THC can be really really intense and is not for your everyday pot head.
Can you imagine when the Bath salt guys hear you can get all trippy from something you can buy at the local gas station?
This is beginning to sound a lot like that spice shit.
That stuff was legal too, until they realized the potential abuse problems it has.
Once they realize the potential abuse problems of CBD they will react in a similar manner.
How long this will take is anyone’s guess and as someone else stated earlier in the thread, once people start getting sick and/or getting too stoned and eating other people’s faces the Govt. will take notice and make the changes they feel are necessary.
Someone should start a Pure THC thread.
I wonder who has tried it?
I know of a few and most found it a bit unpleasant.
@JoeCrowe I think it was that had a friend who tried some.
Maybe we could figure out a recommended dose.
Maybe we will eat each other’s faces too, sound like it could be fun…
Not sure this law suit was for method of extraction or something else but it does show legal action was taken against companies marketing a CBD oil.
Scroll to the bottom for the legal document.
“Just use the method in the patent and you should be good, I did not read it but it can’t be that hard just a bunch of acids and such.”
My cynical side says, wouldn’t be too long before delta stuff sold on the street contains other things like fentinal? Well, the world is overpopulated so…
