My current grow is coming to a close… likely harvesting the plants one by one over the new few weeks… usually that means “plant more seeds” but real life plans might finally interrupt my growing cycle. If all goes well, I’ll be moving in the early months of next year which means this next grow is in all likelihood the last one I can count on being able to see through to completion. If I got all the current plants harvested by the third week of July, I could have new plants up by the end of July or early August… three month cycle would have me harvesting in November, optimistically. Thats leaving no time for the soil between runs either…
So I’m thinking this last run should be a banger. I’ve never made seeds, but I’ve got some regular seeds or the materials for silver thiosulfate in the freezer. I want to share a list here of the genetics I have on hand, and probe the interest of making specific crosses, pollen, whatever, from what I’ve got. It might be a while before I can grow again, not really sure what the move will bring, but I’d like to put some good energy into Overgrow this final run (for now). Anyways, enough yapping. Here’s the list:
Lots of Mephisto, a few night owl, lots of goods from Sebring and overgrow, and some unknowns. Again, I can try to make STS to make reversed fems or roll the dice on some regs (like the zamaldelica). Looking to explore ideas!
Are you going to be able to grow when you get moved into your new place? It would be cool to start over in a new place growing your own seeds
The CDLC x Skywalker is very potent. It’s been a long time since I’ve done the Skywalker or the 3 Bears but I remember really enjoying them. The Sour Stomper came out smelling like grape jolly ranchers on the 3 that I’ve grown. I really liked the Livers that I grew too, it’s got a super unique smell to it. If it were my grow I would cross the 3 Bears and the Livers
That strain looks like a real challenge but it would be fun! Crazy long flowering times, crazy height (I’m in a shorty tent)… would be a bonsai challenge inevitably
I recently heard about a fellow landracer growing out a papa New Guinea pheno with carrot menthal sultry exotic goodness, if you’re willing to undergo the challenge you may be in for a treat (always a numbers game)

One of the plants that’s just finishing up now is Ripley’s OG! Been a very fun plant to watch grow and I’ve been saving that cosmic apprentice until I thought I could do her justice. Definitely gonna keep this one in mind.
That sounds super exotic. I think I could swing the long flower time but fitting two of them in my tiny tent would be a big time challenge lol. The pictures I see of those plants they’re absolute monsters.
I guess I would say to include the Strawberry Cough in the mix. I am curious how close this will compare to the original… or at least determine if Growers Choice’s version is good.
Love the idea in spirit, but would strongly suggest a big bud run of a variety of flavors. You gonna be moving, want a heavy and broad stash.
I would pop a bunch of those autoflower classic rippers asap; chem de la chem, sour stomper, cosmic apprentice, cannacheese. Then you got a bunch of bud for inspiriation while setting up your new grow area and planning breeding project
