@firehead was nice to send me baker’s dozen of these. 3 are in my backup drive (fridge).
After 24hr wintering Started soaking these h202 n filtered water Nov 18th night.
6/10 germed, i just cracked the other 4 will go back in the germ test kit
Goal is to select 1 male as backup and a keeper to be crossed to a black afghani i sent to this infamous person
His ww x BA skunk produced a cream berry and smooth strawberryish pheno.
Lets see if removing skunk gives us less stretch and more strawbarrinene.
Germination doesnt represent genetics much but im gona only give stragglers 7 day lag slack n pulled if too too slow.
Had to take a helmet off one and another has broken Cotyledons.
One rotted and another i think ima chuck as it may have a weaker immune.
The two small ones will go in same cup eventually today and let them compete for the winner.
Layered with perlite, coco pelite, and top is recycled coco that was fed dr earth so its darker but still fluffy.
It’s been at least 3 years since I’ve grown any of these Black Widow so, Looking forward to what you find in there.
Don’t be surprised if you get a couple lemon phenos.
I think the dad had that trait, and passed it on to some of the females he pollinated.
One of my BW dad x Northern Lights mom was amazing with a lemon cake smell. Way more amazing than either of the parents.
I still have a clone of her I’ve been keeping around for a couple years now cause she’s so nice.
I’m looking forward to seeing what I can find in these in early spring so I will have to keep u posted when I get started @firehead Happy Growing The Doc
nice i been craving lemons.
Im looking for a pheno that will cross with black aghani to get a strawberry taste so im sure anything sour is required a bit.
If i get a very frosty lemony one ill cross it with strawberry sorbet just got in mail fresh from dna, then choose a berry lemony ranging progeny on the “sativa” side.
all dreams until you try
