this will document my first attenmpt into feminized seeds

for my first experience i decided to try to reverse my cut of chem91

having a good sized mom and 3-4 viable rooted clones i decided it was the right time to experiment with my amazon sts kit i have in the fridge since far too long

it should still be good imo its never been mixed or open and kept in a cool place

i plan on applying tonight on the selected clone to be male
next application will be every 5days unless i get told its not the best application

Yeah, you’re lookin good.

I’ve been spraying every 3-4 days with STS, right up until I see boy parts.

my only concern here is the fact that i have been veging under 24/0

i understand that i should be careful of sts and puting it back under intense lighting could be an issue
so i sprayed sts last night on the selected cut
did not put the plant in the veg area to wait for sts to fully be absorbed
so the light wont burn it

will be putting him/her back in the veg area till wensday wich is the next spray and flip day

I spay for 2 weeks ish and have no problems with lights on or off when applying.

When I was using STS, I’d just pull the plant out of the tent spray it then leave it in front of a fan for 15 minutes or so then back under the light. I never saw any signs of burns.

I got my fresh toys too this week, in exploded kit ^^

  • gloves that you throw after use
  • mask for spraying
  • glasses, you don’t want any drop in the eyes trust me
  • the clothes you wear will be filled with STS after a spraying, even on negative pressure. Protect them.
  • cover the surface of the soil, most are failing their reversal for this stupid detail lol
  • stable temps

Nop. Just like any foliar feeding, don’t put them back with drops on leaves. Let them dry well in a corner.

The thing to care about is the inherent burns of LEDs on high density, it can slow down the metabolism of the plant at the point to make fail the reversal and the synchs, too. For a reason that i ignore, it’s not happening with males.

It’s not the light that burn reversed plant, but the phytotoxicity of STS ^^ They hate it, canna need agressive balances to work with sexually stable phenos.

You can compensate by just the feeding, in using various boosters before application
and after application.

Letting them digest the STS in “slow mode” was a good move, try to watch if you don’t have already some signs of burns. A good formula make yellowing your plants a bit during two weeks, until the bananas are popping and that it return to normal. If it don’t, you just reversed a pure herm that don’t needed STS at all for the same output. Actually reversing a legendary herm lol ^^
