Is that bucket white plastic? I’d check to see how light proof it is, you don’t want any light in the reservoir otherwise you get algae.

Welcome, hope you don’t mind if I tag along for a bit.
For future reference and it’s just personal opinion but I find it much easier to make a notch in the rim of the bucket itself rather than trim the lid to accommodate your air hose, or run it down through the hydroton clay pebbles and net pot
I agree but I know other members on here who grow in clear containers and swear they never have algae problems
You can root clones in a clear container but as soon as you add nutes it’s game over.

Thanks for the replies. The buckets were painted black then white over the black. The nukes I am using are GH I had two but I seemed to break the neck off of one while putting her into her new home.
