First grow update

What’s up everyone just posting these pics as an update, please let me know how they look to you :joy: I don’t know much as this is my first time ever doing this, they’re 26ish days in maybe feeling they’re small but I’ve already decided what I’m going to change next run after these girls are ready to pull. But anything looks fishy or some advice on what I should do in the future as they reach week 4

Looks ok man, maybe just a bit small but hey, first time! So take it day by day. Just keep doing what you’re doing. Are these autos or photoperiods? What are you growing in? Try watering around the outside of the pot to encourage root growth at this stage.

If you’re just getting started with growing in coco I would recommend cocoforcannabis.com Read through some of the articles on feeding, etc and you’ll learn a hell of a lot!

As @NorthNorthNugs is implying, growing in coco IS NOT the same!! Give his recommend Link a good read. Good luck, DON’T get discouraged, SS/BW…mister :honeybee: :100:

Also something else to keep in mind that autos have a finite life cycle and the 5 gallon containers may be a bit large for the autos. Your plants will spend time pushing roots when you want them pushing vertical growth. With that said, your plants may finish a bit shorter and produce a smaller yield. Personally a 2 1/2 gallon pot is the max for me on autos. Anyway good luck and happy growing! :v:

This was one of the things I’ve decided to change in the future, my next autos will be in 2 gallon pots. Bummed I shorted myself on these but I’m shy of 4 weeks in and have learned a ton.

But that is how we learn and get better and who knows, you may knock it out of the park with these autos!

I read up and found out that I didn’t rinse or buffer the coir I used! Bummer! But it’s all good I’ll probably use pre rinsed and pre buffed coco next time. Also I will be buying some calmag In case I start to see any deficiencies

Nice, glad you were able to learn some tips! Typically I buy super cheap coco and just rinse and buffer it myself but it is a lot of extra work haha. Best of luck!

Update on the grow, everything is under control for the most part I believe. Fungus gnats came up but I see very few around now compared to the numbers a few days ago. They are starting to show signs of early flowering but waiting a few days before I switch to 12-12. These pics are after some defoliating as they were getting pretty bushy.
