I have been given the opportunity to avoid the corporate cannabis industry and their outrageous prices the most I can and do something that I have a passion for and am constantly trying to learn more about. Growing plants! Currently I have a gorilla 4x4 tent, was gifted a HLG600Rspec light, am going to be using organic living soil (the legend coots recipe)
At this point I plan on doing a plant or two outside as well, but we shall see. I have been searching for some good genetics, and plan to start soon! I do have a fan and blower, havenāt hooked them up and il order a charcoal filter when Iām all done, hahaha ĀÆ_(ć)_/ĀÆ no that is on my list to order, def b4 flowering. Quality equipment to start with, I have a gorilla lite and its well made, donāt get me wrong I love my budget Vivo, great zippers, but there IS a difference. Solid light there, I rock HLG mainly too, but older board style. I started out with phresh filters, big fan, but Iāve used the cheap Ipower budget ones too, they work. I use ducting elbows with screens(intake), but you could do hose or anything really. Good start and nice area to work with, then you can work on maximizing your footprint. Itās a talent to grow in a confined space, training is important for a flat top boogie 
I will say the Gorilla Lite is kind of a PITA to put up comparatively, butā¦ Iād be complaining and reaching at that point and is well worth the effort. Keep Emā Green

Eventually, the beans you pick will be the biggest factor in how good your weed is. But get your room and your grow knowledge/experience dialed in, then apply that to better beans. But if āgood geneticsā means stable, youāre on the right trackā¦
For your first grow (or 2), just make sure the genetics you start with are stable. In other words, they arenāt known for hermies. If you end up with hermies from stable genetics, the issue is likely in your grow environment. But if you start off with genetics that often create hermies (like Gorilla Glue, GSC, Wedding Cake, etc), you may end up chasing your tail to find the reason for the hermies when there was nothing you couldāve done to prevent them.

Today I popped some seeds of the following
2x super lemon pupil (super lemon haze x star pupil) (feminized seeds) from massmedicalstrains420
3x Acapulco Gold (regular)
2x Star Pupil S1 (acquired from a friend)
2x Gas Funk from beanslandseedco
2x Barn yard candy from beanslandseedco
And some shanagins on the side, popped some Brussel Sprouts that took 2 days only, and some Afghan poppies finally popped after being in the refrigerator for about 2 weeks, so these will get a temp home for a bit. These will be placed in regular potting soil from the bag.

Iāve started some seeds and clones, I know I put 3-1 as start date, but I cheated. Also still waiting on some stuff that will be started shortly. (Hopefully) Currently the grow is looking as the following
- 2 star pupil S1 (from my friends clone) I plan to keep the better of the two
- 2 feminized super lemon haze x star pupil (massmed) plant to keep the better of the two
- 2 Acapulco Gold regular seeds (2022 massmed but involved bodi with that batch)
I hope one turns out to be a female, I had planted 3 only 2 popped. If one is fem n decent that girl is going outside, not trying to have a pure sativa 20 week flower inside lol. I would LOVE to grow some Kandahar black inside. I will eventually, seeds are hard to find and prices are rediculous
-1 reg seed ābarn yard candyā from beanland seed co (others didnāt pop)
-3 seeds that were from an outside grow that could be cross pollinated from multiple things (my friend has original cut from pheno hunt, actually doing clones now but will prob go with one of the 3.
Ya never know. Iāve smoked some Tenzin that were sister plants, 9 dif ones, and the difference between some were insane) and those were sistersā¦ il roll the dice with this mystery, the not knowing can be fun sometimes. And if it sucks, try again.
Also with these seeds that were in the PLG (I came up with that abbreviation lol as Purple Unicorn x (Larry OG x Gary Payton) is a mouthful, I just call it Purple Larry Gary or PLG just easier. These were in a bag from my friend with smaller popcorn nugs, as that was all that was left of that plant at time, so I have zero clue if it self pollenated of by a nearby plant.
Also the outside SP I know the other plants that were right next to them. On a complete dif plant outside on one nug outta a lot, Iāve seen little naners b4 on bud right next to a seed, from my understanding unless it was placed there that particular seed will be an S1 but Iām not 100% positive havenāt researched enough.
For the S1 star pupil seeds I have this was not the case, my friend forced it to S1, i understand S1, Bx1 Bx2 exc, F1 F2 I just am a noob and never attempted this obviously or reversing sex, this my first time, or should say proper first time, growing reefer.
If anyone can confirm, feel free to say or correct me if im wrong. (On the banana right next to seed I could post pic of what Iām talking about cus I took it and was curious) Iām a laid back dude, I donāt take offense if Iām wrong or on constructive criticism, just donāt be a dick about it. Iām here for good vibes and to learn, and help people with what I can, especially down the road. Iāve learned so much already, from my friend and from me making mistakes. Not all from mistakes, but plenty and Iām sure il make plenty more lol
I have some clones n sprouts of seeds that were in an outside star pupil (have my friends clone of that one also, the S1ās are from that clone. I probably wonāt do the randoms due to space, or do one outside)
Iām also currently doing clones for my friend that has been growing since we were in 7th grade. Following clones Iām doing (I have separate post on it) Heās been friends with Clackamas coot for a while, hence the old genetics) this is my first time using rock wool so I started with 36. I donāt wanna do aeroponic cloner, I feel that a dome of some sort and a decent medium and some rooting hormone is all you really need for high success rate. Right now I have 4 snips of each.
- Clackamas Coots āThe Oneā original cut
- Mimosa (pheno hunted) outside it grew 12ft tall lmao
- 1977 cut of Burma from Clackamas coot.
- Star Pupil (pheno hunted)
- Star pupil (his neighbor Steveās cut) it is from a seed in SP clone that got pollinated by unknown.
- Clackamas coots āthe other oneā (pheno hunted from seeds from coot
- CPR (Clackamas coots private reserve)
- Purple Unicorn x (Larry OG x Gary Payton) pheno hunted. (I love this one, ans mentioned above Iāve popped 3 seeds from outdoor grow that coulda been pollinated by anything. Il prob keep one of the plants and maybe grow a clone of this one as well.
Idk if il grow any of the other above, I didnāt care for the mimosa and the other ones listed above thereās PLENTY of bud that was grown inside and outside from my friend. (I do think it would be fun to grow T.O. Outside, if I have the opportunity I may give it a whirl to see what I
can do)
Currently taking up a lot of space in my
4x4 are about 20 Brussel sprouts, 3 baking pans of poppies, and a bunch of clones.

Left side Brussel sprouts, bottom left and top right are clones (donāt pay attention to, was doing an experiment of soil vs coca coir in 9oz cups inside 16oz cups with another 16oz cup for a dome. (Have another right up on that) they also go out under a 12/12 for about 3-4 days n started to flower, been under 17/7 now. Soil dominated over coca for me, had roots in bottom of cup @10 days on most of themā¦
At the end of the day Iām looking to do 4-6 plants inside the 4x4 with possibly 1-2 strains Iāve never tried, but they would be in small containers. Will continue to post pics and info as grow continues.
