all three trinity’s rooted 8-10 days. real good considering the road trip.
i am down to the last cut of the 4 on the triangle. have not opened the plug lately to check. the cut looks healthy and i am amazed that it looks good this far out. only barely had nubs last time i looked.
one hell of a tough cut. for sure! she is fighting on hard to get across the finish line!
Out of all the cuts I’ve sent to people, the Triangle Kush has been the hardest to root. I have a hard time rooting her here and it usually takes 16 days minimum for her to throw roots for me. Let me know if it roots for you, if not I can try to send you a rooted clone of her.
Trinity was a great plant to grow. Amazing structure that hardly needed any support and big chunky buds that are easy to trim. For me it’s a really nice, potent hybrid type of buzz that’s good for watching movies or playing video games.
Gave the autos their first feed since transplanting them at 1.2 EC and bumped the light up to 100% which showed 609 watts on my meter. Tops of the plants are getting roughly 550 ppfd which works out to a DLI of 40. They’ll get more light in a few days as long as they look happy as my target is 625-650 ppfd and a DLI around 47. I’ll adjust the light as they get taller and see how they do. I’m running 20/4 for the schedule for the autos and hoping to get my new 4x4 tent up by the end of the week. I finally got Irene OG trimmed up and now have space for the tent to get setup.
Gonna switch the autos to the 4x4 and a 700 watt bar style LED once that tents up and the 5x5 will have clone mom’s until its time for the clones to get flowered.
It was toasty today and we hit 83 with higher temps coming up. Gonna need another AC window unit to get us through the summer it looks like.
Hope y’all are doing great and your gardens are too.
Been a crazy week for sure. I’ll be happy once everything is in it’s final pots and I just have to water. Keeping mother plants can be a pain sometimes but having so many choices makes it worthwhile in the end.
Just checked the 4 Triangle Kush cuttings I took 10 days ago and 3 out of 4 have roots showing!! So glad to see 75% rooted in just 10 days. The autos are starting to take off now that they’re in the 5x5 and are looking good. Clone mom’s are doing great in the bigger pots and the seed plants from my pollen chucks are ready for bigger pots.
Enjoy your Memorial Day weekend and be safe. Lot’s of drunks on the road and extra cops running around looking for them.
Just dropping a couple pics of the autos. Everything looks great so far and hopefully I’ll see some growth this week as flowering should be starting soon. Hope y’all are having a great long weekend.
I’ve got some Autos I want to work into my routine @FirstCavApache64 . Do you just transplant yours once. Solos to final? About half of mine will end up in the yard. That might be fun.
The soil I picked up at the garden center had a bunch of fungus gnats in it. The sticky traps and BTI should knock them out in 2 weeks hopefully.
I usually go from Solo cups to final pot and try to transplant by day 14 or so from germination. Good luck with the outdoor autos, I can’t do outdoor plants because of all the trees here blocking direct sun.
Looking great FCA
My very first grow I battled them sucks in organic. Never again, promix and mega crop now. Haven’t seen a dam gnat in 3 grows
Do you find they are usually in EWC or compost?
TK definitely hard to root. Someone sent me a batch of cuttings, I was able to root most except TK, none of those took. Hopefully will get it at some point but grateful for what I have.
I mostly hear 15 to 45 days, extremely stubborn, extremely hard to reverse also
When I see them it’s usually from the bag of soil sitting out open in the garden center. They get in through the vent holes in the original bag there I’m guessing. They’re always a small amount around because we live in the woods with lots of them around due to all the leaf matter and natural composting in the woods. When they are bad it’s usually something like soil that I brought in.
They’re pretty easy to get rid of with the sticky traps and Microbe Lift liquid but I hate having them around.
Got lucky and went 4/4 on the last batch of cuttings. Just put 3 in solo cups 15 minute’s ago. When Topshelftrees gets back I’m sending him more snips and he can pass them on to you once his get established I’m sure.
