Hawk stopped by today to hunt by my bird feeders. It freaked all the song birds out but didn’t stay long. It’s the first time I’ve seen this type of hawk up close. A buddy thinks its a Coopers hawk which looks right to me. I should have some plant pics soon as the garden has finally gotten going again. Have a great weekend everybody.

They usually do a drive by here and all you see is a cloud of feathers when they grab their dinner.

I’ve seen a red tailed hawk chasing squirrels in the woods here, they’re relentless. I love raptors.

They can be brutal. We have a huge murder of crows that live up the mountain. If I get up early enough I can hear them all heading out for the day. Gotta be 50 or more in their crew. They don’t rap though, they’re more Bluegrass around here lol.

I was out fishing in the river and a Red Tail flew over with a big ol’ snake in it’s talons. I had to look close to make sure it wasn’t a rattle snake in case he somehow dropped it into the boat. That may have required abandoning ship…

We got a couple that perch on the same trees every year and when letting the pup out was always scared considering she was a Chihuahua. A toy one at that would scoop up so fast. Then two days ago I hear recyclables can knocked over and shine flashlight and baby bear probably a year old half way in licking cans he jumped out walked 10 ft and just looked at me until I clapped. Country life :grinning:

Yeah, the mom’s start kicking the 1 and 2 year olds out of the group around this time of year so the juveniles get into a lot of trouble. They’re less skilled at finding their natural food so they hit trash cans and bird feeders. They’re kind of cute and scare easily so i don’t mind them as much as the big adults.

Getting ready finally to take cuts of the GG4, ECSD, Garanamals, Apple Fritter and Lemon Mints from Boston Clone Company for my buddy and to flower. I have LAPK from a good buddy that will have cuts taken as well. Dogwalker OG is coming in tomorrow and I’m hoping I’ll be able to flower that this cycle. So many new strains have me really excited for this run.

Prep includes bleach for the tools, sulphur dips to ensure no powdery mildew and root riot plugs soaked in ph adjusted .7 EC bloom nutrients. These will be in solo cups with ziploc bags as humidity domes and ill grab some pics of the finished cuts later. Hope everyone had a great weekend and your plants are stinky.

Awesome glad you’re sharing your routine / protocol. There’s gonna be stuff I’ll pick up for sure.

That’s the best part! Offsides is the dumbest rule. It’s like making it illegal to play.

Card board tips in joints and offsides in Rugby football are what separates us from the savages.

Forgot I had to get snips of Afgooey and OGKB 2.0 so there are 8 strains getting rooted. I’ll put 2 of each into plugs and solos and leave 1 cut of each strain in a cup of plain water that gets changed out daily to see which get roots first. Here they are getting some time to soak before plugs and cups. Finished pic of solo cloners to come later, I need a bowl break.
