Nice job @FirstCavApache64
I have been meaning to ask you about the purest indica, how many seeds did you run to find your keeper? And what is it that made you keep it around? Curious cause I think I want to try some of AG’s offerings and this one kinda sticks out to me.

Thanks, we have very low plant counts here in VA so I’m not able to pop a bunch at once. I popped two of the Purest Indica and both were girls so I flowered them both. The larger one was very dark green foliage and super frosty at an early stage but the smaller one seemed to do well in a small pot which is important to me so I dusted that one. It’s my first pollination so if something good comes out of it it’s the genetics not the pollen chucker that should get the recognition. Hopefully as I get further into learning more about true breeding I’ll begin to make better decisions on males and what I’m looking for. I’m very happy with Authentic Genetics Northern Lights #2 and the Purest Indica. They have some really nice classic pine and funk going on and the trim of the Purest Indica should make really good bubble hash as it’s just full of trichomes.

We’ve been in the high 80s and low 90s the last two days and without AC it’s been warm in the tent. The plants seem to be holding up well and are starting to put on some bulk and looking sticky. The northern lights smells just like I remember from the late 80s and I can’t get enough of it.
I managed to save my Bubba Kush clone as the clones I took from the mother plant didn’t root and I had to grab a second round in week 3 of flower which I was really worried about.

Today’s day 41 so tomorrow marks the end of week 6. The Purest Indica plants look like they’re going to be ready first and then probably the NL#2 and Bubba a couple weeks later.

Plants are slowly putting on some weight and branches are bowing down. Purest Indica could use some stiffer secondary branches as it’s the worst offender. I’ve tied up a few but am letting others do their thing. It’s a frosty plant and I really love the smell of it.

Northern Lights is just like I remember as far as the smell. It’s a very sweet fruity and floral smell that I can’t wait to smoke. Still a few weeks at least for her.

Bubba Kush is looking good and seeds are popping out on the buds that got the Blue Kush pollen.

This is the Genius Thai Extreme x Chocolate Trip by Useful Seeds that’s vegging and next in the chute for the flower tent once it frees up.

Thanks for visiting my journal and have a great week!!

Death from above lol. I’d love to make a strain potent enough by pollen chucking that I could call that. Thanks for the kind words bud.

Dude, absolutely killing it in there. Healthy plants, good variety of strains & making seeds. Hit all the goals I’m looking to hit in the future. Super cool :100:

Thanks, I’m excited to see how your SSDD run goes coming up. That nerve pain relief is a huge goal for me to find.

Today’s day 56 and day 35 from my hitting them with pollen. Purest Indica is going to finish first I’m thinking but has at least 2 weeks until I’ll think about chopping them. Northern Lights and Pre 98 Bubba Kush look like they’re going to go 3 more weeks or so but are bulking up some and looking really nice at 8 weeks of flower. The smaller Purest Indica is starting to get some purple coming in and has a cool lavender look to the sugar leaves.

I’m seeing leaf curl from them being so rootbound but no deficiency issues other than NL#2 that’s been needing more Nitrogen than I can seem to feed. Going to go with 4 gallon pots for the next run and hope to see better leaf health and a little more yield. Hope your gardens are doing great and thanks for checking out my journal.

I grew a NL#2 from AG a couple months ago and all my fans went yellow and dropped about halfway through flower. It will be interesting to figure out what these really want.

I grew a really ugly plant, but despite that it produced some very enjoyable flower. Hope you get the same.

Thanks, it has the smell I was hoping for so far and I’m hoping for some more weight in the next few weeks. I’ve been feeding Dr Earth 4-6-3 and giving the NL#2 occasional Cal Nitrate to try and boost the available N. When I run it again it’s going to be Jack’s 321 but just do 4 grams part A and 2 grams Calnit. I think that will let me dial in just how hungry it really is. The sugar leaves all still look good so I think I can get it across the line with the buds in good shape. It would for sure like to have been in a bigger pot. It’s in a 2.5 gallon pot and it’s 3’ in diameter.

So after seeing several growers here post good cloning results using Hormex #8 rooting powder I decided to give it a try. It has produced more roots than the Great White I’ve been using by a good bit. I’m really happy I decided to give it a shot.

Nice roots!!! Might have to look into it when I run out of my clonex packets.

That’s the GMO x Granny Skunk I just took in preparation for getting the big mom into flower in a couple weeks and the other was the GTE x Chocolate Trip that I took just to see how it rooted. They look really good, should be some nice, big girls in flower. Still need to get bubblegum and grape punch cuts rooted before I flip these but it’s just too crowded in the mom tent right now. Hope I can chop one the Purest Indica plants next week and then I’ll get some space for the GTE x Chocolate Trip to go into the flower tent.
