Today’s the start of week 9 and I’m thinking that the small Purest Indica will be getting chopped at the end of the week. It looks great and has some really pretty buds.

Start of week 10 this week and the focus is on ripening. I’m getting a portable AC for the drying room as our central AC is dead. Once I get that setup and dialed in I’ll be chopping the smaller Purest Indica and then the others in the next week or two. The plants are smelling so good right now I can’t wait to get a smokeable bud dried so I can test them.
They look great, almost can smell them from here. Nice job I can’t wait to see the harvest pics and smoke reports

Girls are finishing up with two ready to be chopped and the others a week behind. Really happy with the new Spider Farmer tent so far. It’s a very sturdy unit with great zippers. Hope to be posting some after chop pics later this week.
Both of the Purest Indica plants and the Northern Lights are hanging in my drying room right now. I’m getting the Pre 98 Bubba Kush done tomorrow and then it’s time to clean the tent and reset for the next run. Really happy with the bud density of everything so far. The Spider Farmer light did a good job. I just need to keep the canopy a little lower for this next run so I can run it harder.

Which SF light are you using?
It’s the SF7000 which I won in a Spider Farmer contest on a different forum last year. This was my first run with it. I’m going with a 700 watt bar LED setup this next run to see if the bar design is better at an even spread.

I have a fairly new SF4000. I’ve also been thinking about building a bar style though.
It did a great job but there seems to be a hot spot right in the center and the light falls off quickly the further you move out to the edges. I tried a bar LED last run before this but didn’t have a light meter and scorched the plants pretty badly. I’m going to give the bar style another go but now I have a LUX meter to try and keep it in the right ppfd range.
I think I torched my Scarlet Grapes under it aswell. How far away were ya?
The Spider Farmer I only ran at 100% for a week as my canopy was a little too tall for it. Right around 18-22 inches was the height. The bar led is from a company called Cultiuanna that sponsored me when they first came out. It was at 18" roughly but I added a UV light to it and things went downhill from when I added UV. The bar led seems to have better average numbers but the board design has some intense numbers right under the center.
You get a good number of seeds?
They just got hung for drying a few days ago. I’ll give em a few weeks and then I’ll break up the buds to check. I don’t see them popping out much but I’m hoping they’re just deeper in the bud.
I’ve got all the seedless bud trimmed except for Bubba which should be today or tomorrow. I’m very happy with both the yield and quality of the strains I ran this time. The Purest Indica is a fairly heavy body buzz with a nice crash at the end that helps with sleep. Northern Lights #2 is a little more euphoric at first then settled into a nice warm relaxed body stone. Should be shucking seeds next week to see how they look. Super excited to see these Blue Kush crosses hit the dirt. Thanks for commenting, liking and just plain stopping by my first Overgrow journal.
