Yeah… that why I broke down and stuck them all in a tray that I top off every day to maintain around 1/4-1/2 inch of water in. I’ll let the tray dry out daily before adding more water but the plants don’t ever get too dry unless I’m not there for 36+ hrs.
Only issue I have is roots stick out the bottom of the pots. Plastic pots I’m cutting the bottoms off of during transplant just to not harm any roots. I switched to fabrics I don’t have to transplant out of and they’re cheaper too.
I have done bottom watering but I end up with the same issue just in reverse
I don’t mind doing it if I’m going away for a few days, I’ll just stick them in a couple of inches of water and that buys some time. But as a regular thing it just doesn’t suit my habits I guess.
It’s ok though, this is the way I always do it, and I don’t have to do it for long because they’re going to show in a couple of weeks and then I can up pot and thing will be easier.
The real problem I’m having now is that they’re starting to get to size and the morphology is suggesting I’m going to have mucho males. I think it’ll be ok but I hope my numbers work out. If not I’ll just flower them in the veg cab again which is not what I had hoped for but again it’ll be fine. I’ll just grumble about it a bit and it’ll be all good
So I killed the one freak and let the other one live because I had the space and there was no urgency so just let it ride. But not only is it a freak it’s become very finicky and there’s no way I’m going to baby it:
I’m trying to keep an open mind because I don’t quite know what I have yet and I’m not sure I can work with more than one male this time but it is definitely on my possibility list.
I like to think I’m pretty conversant in a couple of languages but honestly I find German to be very difficult. But I very much appreciate some of the sayings. We don’t have English equivalents.
