(I soak all my seeds in a shot glass full of tears for 100% germination). Electrolytes, you know?
It’s really not a big deal. It’s not like I don’t have enough seeds to last me until the end of time. It’s not like my drying space is so full of delicious weed that I can’t even chop what I have growing until what’s hanging is done drying.
Life is horrible.
I would very much like to have an EDH cross but woe is me boohoo and gesundheit and all that.
I don’t know how old the pollen is, but seems like that was made quite a while ago. Doesn’t surprise me too much that it wouldn’t take, but hopefully you get lucky and find some on the edh.
Yes that could very well be. Under better circumstances I would have had a male or two of my own but it was not to be on this run. 3/4 EDHs were female and the 4th was a yellow little runt so I killed it.
Sometimes decisions have to be made and in retrospect I wish I had not killed my Malana male but too bad so sad. It was probably a bandwidth thing.
I had originally planned to run 4 different hazes but am pleased to have ended up with 3 EDHs. They are quite lovely.
If you’re going to use a frisbee…I had one of these badboys once upon a time. They worked pretty good, and left a cool smoke contrail when you threw it. Of course we were too young and dumb to really realize that was our hard earned weed burning away quickly making those contrails.
This seem to be the same song being sung around the nation.
Food for thought…
The team also discovered that pollen can be more or less viable at different stages of the flowering period. The optimal time to extract pollen seems to be during the mid-flowering stage. At that point, it retained “viability the longest with 22 percent of pollen grains successfully germinating after 21 days” of storage in a low-temperature environment.
