Fox farms soils have taken a shit on their consumers. It is total trash now and I have discontinued using it in any sort of way. I am now making my own proprietary blend that I created for myself.

That soil is just too wet and, the conditions are perfect for life. Mold is a decomposer and, that looks like the beneficials that Foxfarm adds to their soil. The telltale stringy white growth at the edges is the mold, the brown area is the mature sporulating bodies.

Yup, i def used it cause it was expensive and my only viable option at the time. I have never had issues with Fox Farm before so I figured i’d try it out.

I’ve used it for many many years and occasionally you get a dry batch or some that’s a little too moist but never anything like that. Looks like something that’s been left out in the rain and moist conditions for way too long… Mycelium can develop but usually white in appearance.

I use mine when it gets like that, no problemo.
