Anyway had some of the plants outside getting some sun, letting the younger ones kind of catch up to the older plant. As you can see one of the younger plants i missed on watering and almost lost it last week .

And whether we’re talking, or whether we’re bickering, is entirely dependent on your perspective. If you thought I was just trying to reassure you that we’re all working towards the same goal, than this is just a conversation…

here’s the whole conversation that brought your displeasure. The second part you quoted above was a conversation I had with him this weekend. Not sure what’s inappropriate there. Nowhere is it mentioned not to send you seeds. Does that sound like me anyway? To tell somebody not to send? Really? It was more about not stressing out a friend that had a broken leg and dealing with Delta variant of covid at the same time that was feeling bad about being unable to get to the post. I don’t ever rattle anybody’s cage if they’re sending me a gift. It would be inappropriate. I think you were reading into it too much. You could have asked what the entire conversation was before passing judgement.
So you can see your name was indeed mentioned in the conversation. But I was not the one that brought your name up. I’ve known Grover for a long time now. I certainly want to see his Arakku grown probably more than you do.
I spend a good bit of my spare time trying to find other people landrace or heirloom varieties they want to grow. And then I give them the seeds free of charge. Kind of like I told you about the Arraku and arranged for you to get some. Grover would love to see some of this growing in the states and he is a very generous person, wanting many people to get the seeds he has acquired. The cost of shipping to another continent prevents him from sending seeds to 20 different people. When we first talked about this I had agreed with him that I would send seeds out 2 everyone he wished in the states if he wanted to send them to me. We both agreed that would be the best way to do it.

I currently have the oldest AV plant in a 5 gallon pot and the other 8 in 1 gallon pots. I think I’ll go ahead and transplant the 8 into 5 gallon pots also . Might as well right . Go big or go home lol
Let me add some more info. Most or some don’t use nutrients with landraces due to them being kind of picky I guess is what you would call it . Well I’ve fed them twice with Greenleafs mega crop , I mixed it a hair light just in case and they loved it . Today they got a dose of fish fertilizer. Since we are still vegging im still utilizing the outdoor sun, right at a 16 / 8 ratio in my location.

This is the youngest and what im hoping is male, its branching differently than the others to me . Not sure if AV shows distinct differences between m/f like some strains or not and being there’s little info on this strain . My guess is as good as yours til it shows sex. I could be wrong and it could be different because of age alone .

Update , I’ve repotted all but 1 from the 1 gallon pots to 5 gallon pots. We will leave that 1 for a test subject on size difference .
