Freaker's Kandahar Preservation

How does one become a Freaker, and how can I donate some cash for mailing, even if I am not a Freaker and just want to support the effort (even without receiving any seeds myself)?

There are currently 16 people on The freaker’s list I know there’s at least three or four more that have showed interest, and will probably lose a few along the way. I have been doing all the shipping for the past 3 years and I really don’t mind my frustration lies in sending people thousands of seeds who don’t never want to do a grow our chip in financially seems like the same five people paying for everything I don’t know what’s going on with our leadership, MIA
Once we get things figured out, I would be more than happy to continue on. This started out as a preservation group and as long as we continue to do that I will be a part of it. But we definitely need to iron out some more details. I’m not a big fan of rules and regulations but As we grow and people come and go we need to be more organized and that takes leadership.

I will donate stamps and/or funds to help support the Freaker effort. Also, I don’t imagine there is any shortage of seeds/options for the freakers to grow out, but I have a few landrace things that are open for anyone who might want to do an increase.

As far as mailing seed to the co-op, @G-paS can point you in the right direction. If you have limited seeds and you only want 10 or 12 to go to each person that signs up on the Overflow list, It would be best to count them out. Otherwise, if you are mailing bulk seeds, she has a predetermined weight or seed scooper and she scoops up that amount of seed to go in each pack without really counting the seeds. It’s the only way to pack seeds fast enough. She always appreciates if you are packing them yourself of course.

That’s entirely up to the grower, But generally speaking most of us have big hearts😁 and pass along excess seeds to the co-op for distribution. It depends how many seeds were made. Some runs produce less seed than others. Especially with Landrace grows, we are often flying by the seat of our pants and have no idea how fast the plants will grow or how much they will stretch once the lights are flipped… so sometimes the plants end up being smaller than intended and there are less seeds than wished.

If the run is for the co-op above those for the private group they come to me )Doug in Canada) and we measure out 1/8 t. into a container as a co-op run and they go thru the group.

Everything freaker need to be addressed in group. There are seed number and some runs that aren’t co-op related

@TricycleOfDoom oh, man…this would be a blessing. I have all the seeds bagged…not individual packs…but a big bag of seeds. I do have about 1k small vials that hold 6-10 seeds per vial. I can toss a bunch of those in there too. I’m still not working, so can meet up anytime…except for today and tomorrow and Friday during the day .

Very sorry for falling off the face of the earth for a while. Life has a way of screw-assing around.

I don’t see one for this run yet and just went through all the post, but I did miss the Banana OG F4 seed co op run and hope that someone would be willing to help me out with a trade or to share.

Pretty sure they have to cover the Freakers seed needs first. Once they do that, they will have an idea what’s available for the co-op

That’s right brother. Without these guy’s time, space, energy cost and supplies; we wouldn’t have excess to these genetics or some could be lost forever. I’m very thankful of each and every Og who takes on a Co-op. It’s also alot of pressure to try and preserve genetics in front of a crowd that’s dying to have them also. Thank you @Tappy even if I can’t end up with a pack.
