Very good advice about not using the smart phone ![]()
I also advice no way use of smartphone and 5G (except without chip), iâm really hard anti zombi and pro human!
Well, the journey begins. Ended up with four lambsbread babies. Looks like one wants to be different & have some fatter leaves (bottom left), weâll see how it turns out.
Thanks again to the collective & to @hashpants for sending the beans my way. Itâs gonna be interesting. ![]()
Good luck buddy! I hope i didnt slip you a mickey with that one. I had 6 thin leaf exactly like those 3 in the first pass. I kept 3 which were all female.
Itâll work out. if it keeps looking different Iâll set it aside & maybe itâll turn out female. Then we can smoke a bunch & try and guess what it is.
Symphonic ReggaetĂłn haha that must be epic.
This one was groundbreaking and my soldier dad hated it hahaha
It basically says âeveryone in Puerto Rico wants to smoke so I will grow the weedâ
This is the precurssor to modern ReggaetĂłn, much more closer to the Jamaican Dancehall sound.

Now that it is legal, nobody has a social problem with it. To think that people act subjecting themselves to man made laws like that and judge people based on the legality of it instead of the clear individual and social benefits, it is beyond me.
Vibes I am just harvesting a new Swaz hybrid with only one mom JLB, banana fruity one. Jamzi F2 project for 2026 will see!
Iâve was working in Jamaica this year, 1st time in late February and the 2nd time in early July. Stayed in southern St Ann Parrish at around 2300 feet elevation. My work took me on a lot of backcountry hikes through both bush and local farms. Got to see hundreds of pure looking sativas, some hybrid sat doms on a few peopleâs patios, and one very impressive White Widow planting. The White Widow planting finished in the short dry season window, and the sativas were a January to November cycle. I didnât really come across anything leaning hard on the indica side, outdoors at least. Everyone I met openly shared their and their herbâs ancestry. Most people said they couldnât breed indica into their outdoor lines, due to the consistent afternoon and evening rains they received. A few people would keep some hybrids around their house, which theyâd pull up under the covered patio prior to afternoon rain.
My July trip was the first time experiencing hand rubbed sativa hash, which the farmers referred to as gum. Never heard anyone refer to any herb as lambsbread, but they all knew that term from a historical perspective, whenever I brought it up.
Anyways, really impressed with the Jamaican Lambsbread plants on this and otherâs threads. The preservation work being done is awesome!
Weâre supposed to be going back in November to see everyoneâs long season harvest, and Iâll be taking tons of pics again and will try to post them. It will be nice to see how the local stuff compares to the 1960âs genetics and others Jamaica lines on OG.
@ Roms some St Ann locals told me that the best herb traditionally came from Negril and the surrounding areas⊠which makes sense since itâs the driest part of the island. Pretty sure that part of the island also experiences cooler weather before other parts of the island when cold fronts sweep down out of the north west.
Theyâre able to grow some mango cultivars there that donât produce as well on other parts of the island. Guessing the mangoes have much reduced anthracnose populations on the flowers and fruit skin. This goes hand in hand with much reduced mold populations on finishing herb flowers⊠especially during November and December, when early passing cold fronts coincide with the last 4-8 weeks of flowering.
Hi Toothpick
good to know the mango vibe from Negril it can be selection and breeding there. Another important point is the ability of purpleish in our line, i know itâs not common there, so it comes from altitude cold night. I thought that more about the East mountainous up to 1000m which could have turn into purple. Anyway at one time Hindi ganja was like everywhere in the island, maybe arrived from West Moreland and then improve in Negril and Blue Mountains. (?)
I was an hour to hour and a half drive from the north coast, and the high temps for the day never got above 83F and lows got down to around 60F in late February and around 63-65F in July. Afternoon rains were inconsistent but started anywhere from 3-5pm and kept everything wet overnight.
My coworker did the first trip in January 2024 and said it got into the upper 50âs at night, low 80âs during the day as well.
@Il_medical Nice Bud Bro! Thatâs gonna be fun to crack into ![]()

How long are you going to wait? Any color change on the trichomes?
Interesting work.
Not sure, not sure if pistils will die off and shrivel. One of the buds pistils look like they are dying but thatâs it. Iâll do a better inspection tomorrow. I already reduced light by half an hour. Maybe Iâll reduce it another half?
@Il_medical I like 10.5 for those really long flowers I feel it helps start finishing if that makes sense ![]()

Iâll check on it tomorrow. Iâm at 11.5 now. Girls are sleeping now.
Have you grown this yet? Do all pistils die? One of the buds pistils look like they went away or shriveled.
