@Weednerd.Anthony before you freeze it do you think there is a chance you would be willing to share less then 1/4 of the pollen you received from Doug that I could use to pollinate a few buds on a Cap Junky plant about 2 weeks in flowering. If I could get it in my hands in the next 7-10 days I’ll still be in the window to pollinate the plant.

And it goes without saying that the first person who I share the Blue Kush X Cap Junky seeds would be you. This would only work if you’re in the USA.

Hey @DougDawson ! Random question, but do you dry or cure your pollen before packaging? Collecting a whole lot of Grape Punch pollen now, and wondering your process.

Not sure what curing pollen would be but I definitely dry it thoroughly by spreading it out very thin over a large area. Give it kind of a mix every day. When it seems bone dry I toss some in a little sealable plastic baggie and leave it for a few days. If no clumping then it’s ready to ship or freeze.

Right on, I’ll do this method going forward. However, I will admit that I did package some fresh into vials with rice to help keep it dry. Do you think this pollen is still viable or is it required to do some sort of dry process?

You would have to dump it out and see. If sealed with moisture I find pollen goes hard. With my Sour Bubble I made a bunch of baggies of it to early in the drying process and the next day each pack was solid as a rock.

Okay, makes sense! I’ve double checked a few vials from a week ago and all of them still look dry and powdery, however one looked like it was clumpy and I disposed of it.

I’ll definitely do this dry process prior to packaging going forward. Appreciate your help!

Nice looking group you got there!
I know EXACTLY what you mean-- we were on P.S. for years, had tutorials on there, our grows etc… Then they just shut down out of the blue— no warning… and because our Tower PC had croaked-- no back-ups and we lost everything.
I recently came across an old USB drive in a dresser-- and some of our older grows and a tutorial on trimming/lollipopping were on it!!
Like finding a $20 in an old coat pocket!!! :+1: :blush:
