Free Seeds & Free Clones Thread (Part 7)

@HeadyBearAdventures

To be honest…I’ve been very disappointed with DJ Blueberry over the last 20-25 years or so! It’s most earthy with slight berry…and very prone to hermaphroditism!! The only good DJ BB I’ve come across came from the early/mid 90’s!!

I’m pretty sure this AK Blueberry…Blueberry Thai is similar to the OPT(Oregon Purple Thai) aka Oregon Blueberry that came from the Purple Thai Haze genetics out of Cali in the 70’s and made its way North to Oregon…Might be the exact same but almost impossible to verify at this point!

Either way this Blueberry is the real deal sweet BB…No musk, earth, hashiness…just pure sweet BB :slight_smile:

Be well

Brian(Alaskagrown)

P.S. Alaska has has many Blueberry strain over the last 40 years…the best I’ve ever had came from the mid 90’s and was NOT DJ. :wink:

Yes this Blueberry is from AKBB…it’s a combo of three different Alaska BB strains combined into one…the best of the best!

Vintage Blueberry
907 Blue Genes
“90’s Blueberry” unreleased

More to come

Did anyone keep the rolling paper that was in 1 of there albums

lol nope used it and bought a few more of that album…JUST for the paper!

It was ‘BIG BAMBOO’
that was also a rolling paper brand sold back then, and the album looked like a giant pack of the rolling papers

I agree that the DJ short blueberry of today is lacking in flavor. But back in the 70’s and 80’s there was a DJ short Sativa blueberry strain that was very flavorful. And in the link I am going to share below you will see that what you are growing in Alaska most likely came from DJ originally from Ca. Or Oregon.
