@ everyone with PTSD… what effect do pure sativas have? Anxiety? For me they are a major mood enhancer or mood lifter. Gives me energy and motivation.

Ms. Mambo deals with PTSD also and she definitely prefers indica while I prefer the sativa. We have grown many things trying to nail down what works best for her.

I use mostly sativas during the day, switch to indica at night if I have it, but I can sleep just fine with Sativa. I find it’s much more of the effect I’m looking for than like some good old GG#4, my go to for pain or high stress. I had a few that were kinda too trippy, and that’s definitely not good when working with severe anxiety. So take new strains in moderation, note how they work for you. I have good luck looking for terpene profiles, if I think to later I’ll copy paste the names here, no way in hell I can spell them right. What I found was if I keep the terps similar, usually the effect is similar.
I CAN get results with any decent bud, just when you find your perfect strains it’s way better. Also change up that strain. I try to not have the same strain two days in a row, but I’m stuck with pretty much just one at the moment. I’ve noticed it already has lost a little of its magic, but not too bad. Should be able to pick up some diversity in a week or so.
I found with anxiety it’s a lot about self help. Medications are excellent tools to help you get more traction to learn how to control your symptoms. I hadn’t slept properly in 10 years. I am out in 5-10min every night now. That was a big game changer. See what you have locally regularly available and do some Leafly reading on them, grab the most promising one and, well you know the rest. My single favorite has been Durban Poison, although it kinda sucked at night, because I would tend to get distracted and not go to bed. If you have Cresco around those parts, they pretty much churn out Outer Space and Sweet Island Skunk for sativas, reliable pick up, except I’m not sure they cure it fully every time, but whatever.

Curing doesn’t seem to be a thing anymore at dispensaries, at least around here. As soon as it is dry enough to package up then out the door it goes

It’s whatever, I mean, I know they’re just struggling to meet demand. I doubt the prices will go down in Illinois when the supply grows, so I just decided fuck it early on. I’ll grow, keep it on my terms. Until that first crop comes in I can get decent mids that are lab tested, that’s good enough for now. Although I will say, hey, even my dealer on the street would take product back if you had a bad reaction. Sucks medical can’t do the same. Fortunately the worst I’ve gotten from the dispensary was just some heavy brain fog I didn’t care for.
Damn. I wasn’t gonna pack my morning bowl for a bit yet, but now I’ve got a taste for it, lol.

The only Strain that was Anxietyfree was pure Sativa for me. But some People percieve it different. It was alleged pure 70s Vietnamese. Peace

I’m in New York. My dispensary looks like a closet with jars in it LOL. I haven’t bought in a quarter-century, and don’t plan on starting anytime soon. When you grow and breed a strain for yourself, with your particular tastes and needs in mind, nothing you can find at the dispensary will satisfy you. There really isn’t too much to breeding if you’re just looking for something that you enjoy. Grow plants, pollinate everything, and keep the seeds from the ones you like the best each year, grow them next year, and repeat. Eventually you will have something custom made for yourself.

Hi everybody so super knew to this all of this meaning growing reaching out to strangers being a med patient all of it but I am a med patient here in NY which has a horrible med program no concentrate or flower even so wierd anyway I havē started putting my grow together prohibition be damned got a 2x4 tent fan and such and used sf2000 now just need seeds looking to start with autos and I need help I’m disabled and broke so any guidance would be greatly appreciated 10 dollars a seed that I may be able to germinate isn’t going to work I need help thank yoū all

Because his rich friends dont know how to grow weed, and they have to cover up the bad taste with food. Why no insurance coverage? Because his rich friends in the insurance business dont want to pay. Why does he say there are no medical benefits? Because his rich pharmaceutical company friends have paid him off to say that. Corporate greed. Alive and well in ny.

yeah not really even edibles either just a few approvedproducts vapes chewables etc all at low strength and high cost it really is a joke I think I have seen flower comingout of them nowbut itis mid at best and soldin thesepods meant to go in a certain vape kindalike volcano but people buy them and break them open its insaneI don’t think it’s changing any time soon
