Yes indoors you can control vpd and let them veg for 20 hours yellow/white preferably just like any other veg.
Try to start then in 1gal or final probably first time outdoors even 5+ gals enough.
You should find out when you get more sun hours and when soil temp avg above 55f.
Here peak is 14.5hrs summer solstice so if I ver 24hr photo i can theoretically get two harvests
