No thanks, this one’s on me. I’ll pm for Addy’s a bit later when I can take them down quickly. No rush I’ve gotta acquire some coin flips or corrugated plastic was planning bubble mailers but I think I like this other idea better.

I googled corrugated plastic. Showed me some sheets. Is that what your talking about? How does that work.

I use 4mm corrugated plastic. Seeds fit inside and it can go out as a 5mm letter for standard postage. It weighs almost nothing.

Awesome! Thank you for that. Sounds like a great idea.

It holds quite a few seeds, I have yet to try how many. However this could also work for the Pinkleberry seed run to distribute in a cost effective way.

Definitely got that thought running through my head. Cheap would be best because as of now I don’t plan on collecting money for that. Doesn’t make sense to me to give me info to that many people for such a small dollar amount. Thoughts could change. But that’s where my head is now. 25 letters ain’t nothing but a thing to send out.

I just gave it a try, a sheet the size of a standard letter will hold around 720–1000 seeds depending on seed size. Of course they will add weight and it might not be a standard letter anymore.

Yeah, I should be able to make that work lol

Thank you for helping us out! Simple idea but I had never even heard of the material. Course now I know what’s it’s called I’ve seen it all over

Not my idea, found it on OG too. Took a while to find out what corrugated plastic is called locally and what it actually is. But now I know where to buy it in my area, a sheet is enough for ~50 letters and it costs like 0.15€ per letter. No reports of smashed seeds so far.

Nice. I grabbed some on Amazon for now. But I guarantee it’s cheaper locally. I’ll hunt some down

I know you have already bought the corrugated plastic, but I have seen pictures of it on this site of it crushed. Seeds and all. I have sent seeds in coin flips with a rubber hose washers to Sweden, Brazil, and all over N. America now in regular envelopes without any problems. Just thought I would offer an alternative.

The ones I bought hold say 10 larger seeds and more if they are on small side.
