That is exactly how we used to do it in the 90s, I traded Mexican haze live clones for NLX live clones back in the 90s, packed just like that and the shipping or flight took 5 days from sending to delivery. We didnt have led lights back then though. Just placed under 24/7 for a week or so while transplanted. Holland to Mexcio & vice versa 5 days no problem 
The new clone shippers with lights should make sending things even easier

I’ve kept unrooted clones in the fridge for up to a month without issue. 6 weeks seems to be the LD-50

I put them in Styrofoam Dunkin cups, with an inch of water and the cover on. When they did start to go bad, I believe it was bacteria that I had introduced when checking on them. I’ll have to do another test soon and document it

Yeah, you can cut the fan leaves back and trim them in half even.You also dont need multiple fan leaves,
