Iā€™ve done it. Green floods in a clip light. Used to do 8 hour shifts for 5 days in a row under green light. The plants were not bothered by it at all.
Personally I found it a little depressing

Plants do use green light, read below for full details.

Green light is considered the least efficient wavelength in the visible spectrum for photosynthesis, but it is still useful in photosynthesis and regulates plant architecture. Sometimes one may hear that plants donā€™t use green light for photosynthesis, they reflect it. However, this is only partly true.

This is all true. I have worked 40 hours in the dark cycle under green lights and not had any problems with the flower cycle.

Added some more links to research on the subject. Intreasting stuff, some studies have grown plants under only green light successfully.
