Nice grow. I’m at the southern end. Almost in mexico. Hot hot dry summers. Really good for growing sticky weed

Whats the growing season like there? Has to be alot of challenges that far north.

Well to be honest, the area of :canada: that I live in, is called south eastern Ontario.
The weather here is good for growing many crops.
I am also close to Toronto.
We can grow many crops here, we can grow most crops. But we can also grow Peaches, wine grapes :grapes: the finest Tobacco. And so many more. The weather here during summer gets to around 30C about 86F but it also can reach for a short period of time. Close to 40C 104F. The last frost is in the beginning of May and the first frost is about October. Not heavy frost but frost.
So that gives us about 4-5 months to grow outside. As you can see the plants are doing just fine.
And I use Sunshine mix #4 with Black Swallow blooming fertilizer, 254. And I also use rainwater.
It’s not hard to grow cannabis here at all, just need the proper Genetics :dna:.

It’s the winters here that make it hard to grow sensitive perennials. We have many plants here, and it also seems many think :canada: is a block of ice :ice_cube:. It’s only like that for most of the year.

Yeah I built wind turbines all over the northern US. Spent several winters within a spit of the border up there. People down here in the southwest have no idea what real cold is.

Wait! Rainwater? We don’t get that here.

Yes and people here don’t understand heat!
There are many Wind Turbines close to the :us: border in Lake Erie. Lots of wind out there, and we get it for free.
And rain water is so nice, :+1:.
:v:

I also think it’s cool to learn about growing all over the world. And I would love to see the plants in the heat. I had lots of Mexican pot as a kid, and we also had lots of Colombian pot as well. It was good weed, and if you over did it. Paranoia would set in, not a nice experience. I have not had weed like that in 30 years.
