OGK x Mango Haze x Sour Dubble x C.Banana AKA DBMH
Ok…here’s my dilema.
Traditionally, there are 3 indicators of ripeness, yes?
- color of pistils
- color of trichomes
- fan leaves start turning yellow and dropping.
You should be able to zoom in on that pretty tight…
My pistils are definitely amber, and the trichomes are getting cloudy, but fan leaves are bright, healthy, green.
This is an auto, and she’s a good 14wks old.
What say you folks?
I may cut a branch or two and start drying…

Leaf colour can be deceiving. Use the trichomes over all other ways to tell. If the trichomes are clouding and starting to go amber. Chop. Rule of thumb, when you want to chop her give her another week.

Also very nice plant @Lobstah
It’s all about tricome color.
Yeah…I’m going with that now. I cut two branches yesterday…and will slow-roll through cutting on the Black Molasses. The other 2 varieties have bright white pistils, so not they’re time yet.
Also popped another 8 seeds yesterday to up my harvest a bit for this winter. These are all Widow Maker Autos.
Just beautiful!!
Great work as always @hammerheadgenetics.
This is All Gas OG “purple pheno”.
The smell is oily type gas up front and some orange skunk on the back end.
Triple Sunshine (tk x ssdd) - power-outage shots taken in the dark. Praying the outage / light cycle interruption doesn’t trigger any kind of intersex issues.
I rarely ever go over 100 days with an autoflower plant. One that sometimes will run over 100 days is Dark Devil also a purple strain. I always make my final decision based on trichrome color.
