Freshly organized OG GrowFAQ 🏛

I have reorganized the good old GrowFAQ to take advantage of a new sidebar, making it easier to navigate through FAQ categories. The sidebar also allows you to search within individual categories.

Navigating GrowFAQ

You can find GrowFAQ among the forum categories or through the sidebar (under the OG Essentials section):

GrowFAQ is currently divided into 8 subsections.

Filtering FAQ topics

Inside each FAQ sub-category you can use sidebar search to filter topics:

Full text search in GrowFAQ

You can also perform a full-text search across the entire GrowFAQ by adding

#growfaq searchterm

next to your search term. For example: Search results for 'lighting #GrowFAQ' - Overgrow.com

Is there a future for GrowFAQ?

Please bear in mind that the content of the GrowFAQ is the result of a community-driven initiative from the years 2004-2008. Much of the information needs updating because there has been significant scientific progress in some areas (e.g., LED lighting, terpenes).

My idea is to utilize the wiki feature of the forum to allow updates to outdated topics.

I’d be interested in hearing everybody’s thoughts on this. Is it usable? Would it be worth refreshing and updating its content?

Seems like it would be super useful for new growers. If it’s all updated and whatnot, I’m sure it will help plenty of people.

I would say its worth updating. Many would likely find these useful.

If it’s up to date information then absolutely, we can point new people to the grow faq instead of growweedeasy and the like - keep the traffic internal so to speak. Thanks for getting it organized again LJ!

At least for the OG’s lore. Wikis can be debated below, for the eventual updates.
update ^^ : Even if it’s not so active, the content matter like already said.

Is this addition to the OG essentials section still to be enabled?
