Whenever I get that, if I put it in a new pot with some fresh soil it will usually grow out of it.
Quick text update: Finally pulled the trigger on a Mars Hydro SP3000. Everything else is already in place in the flower tent, so I’ll be back with an update in a few days to show off the improved grow area.
Will likely be moving two plants into flower, 1 Lavender Frosting and 1 Frostberry which have been vegging for about 3 months. They’re both showing as female already too so no worries there. The remaining plants will get some more breathing room and stay in veg a bit longer. Then, the perpetuity begins!!
Got the light all set up and moved over the 1 Frostberry and 1 Lavender Frosting, which is a bit yellower than I’d like. I’ve been giving all the plants Nitrogen so hopefully some flower nutes help it. Light is at about 60% strength right now. The 3 Orange Goji seem to be super reliable growers, nice and green about a month into veg.
Frostberry
Lavender Frosting
Orange Goji that became really symmetrical after topping once.
Vegging continues and flowers start to form. The plants aren’t all as healthy as I’d like though, the leaves all started to look serrated a few days ago, is this a common deficiency? The Orange Goji are really showing it.
Here’s the entirety of the Veg tent. I’ve started 3 more plants, going back to ol’ reliable; Oregon Huckleberry. Really hoping to get some weight off of them this time around. Should really take me back to the good old days when I started my first grow…all the way back in 2020 lol.
Flower tent time, Frostberry on the left and Lavender Frosting on the right. The LF is still pretty yellow compared to the other plants, I’ve been giving worm casting, dry flower nutes and some molasses to try to keep them healthy. I do have some gnats since Spring is coming back, but not a crazy amount.
Hey everyone, Happy 4/20! No better day for a grow update.
Frostberry - nice fade going and definitely could use some thinning out in the center of the plant. I like how she’s stacking up though. Smelling really fruity and nice.
Lavender Frosting - I was able to get some green back into the plant but it’s probably too late for the majority of the fan leaves. That’s ok though because the buds are looking like they’ll end up decently sized. Also smelling fruity and gassy.
The whole flower tent, Orange Goji that was showing female has been in for just over a week so no buds to show off yet.
Veg tent could use some love but is definitely moving along. Watered some worm castings into the 2 Orange Goji. I’ve been having issues keeping the plants green throughout veg, are my temps too low? It dips down into the low 60’s in my basement during winter. The two Oregon Huckleberry plants are doing alright, I wanted to transplant them 3 or 4 days ago but the hydro store hasn’t gotten their soil shipment in.
Last but not least, we have a Quality Manager in training here!
Enjoy the holiday everyone! I’ve got some flower and some gummies to hopefully put me on my ass.
Budshot time!
Lavender Frosting - living up to it’s name as far as the frost! Smells like gassy skittles. @WeTokeChronic
Frostberry - This plant also smells fire and has some serious frost. Second picture is showing one of the lower bud sites with beautiful dark purple/black leaves. @Comacus
Orange Goji - just some baby buds but already looking promising!
They are all looking great!
Not seeing too much amber on the Frostberry or Lavender frosting but wow are they gorgeous plants. The Frostberry is looking like Maine in October with these colors! Orange Goji also starting to be blanketed with trichs.
Gorgeous plants!
Getting close that’s for sure frost is building nicely. Great job at growing those.
@Comacus @ShiskaberrySavior Thank you both! I’m always pretty worried towards the end of veg but they usually seem to turn around in flower thankfully! After these two oldest plants get chopped, two more Orange Goji will be moving in and the flower tent will be all Goji for a while.
Orange goji is such a nice strain to grow and the smoke is excellent.
Both mature plants have been flowering for over 70 days and have a bit of amber on each, so I think today is chop day for Frostberry and Lavender Frost! What do you think @Comacus and @WeTokeChronic ?
They’re looking good and ready to me!!
Those both look beautiful!
Thanks @Comacus & @WeTokeChronic, I agree! These two strains are both successes for sure and live up to their names! (Frostberry on the left and Lavender Frosting on the right in the post above btw).
They’re both hanging now and I moved another Orange Goji into the flower tent.
I had them flipped around in my head.
No no, you are correct lol I’m not sure why I had them flipped. Edited my other reply!
Ya got me too lol for a sec I thought the frostberry was the lavender frosting
That Lavender Frosting is definitely looking ready!! Fire as fuck too my man, good !!!
