Frustrated with pricing edited

as a side… forgive if this doesnot make sense. had a really bad reaction to new ms meds Friday. and have had vertigo and dizziness since.also hard to type. and yes called my neuro … ok… what would you guys do. i saw a item I want on a website. -price says one thing.14.99. on the preview used to be 3 times as much 50.99. so I click so I can buy because I do need this item for my tanks. when I click. it has prices from 30 on up… but none for the 14.99 that is on their page… i emailed them early this morning and sent a message by another route. but have not heard anything back yet. if you see a price on their page for one price. both on cell phone and computer but its different and much higher on the page it sends you to. what would you do. chalk it up to a misprint? or? got ahold of them… apparently its coding error they are changing formats? or who runs their page… lol

I might consider it to be a cached entry from a sale that occurred in the past and is is no longer relevant. It could also be unskilled web hosters not updating their site. Or a bad reference in their code. I would reach out and ask if they would be willing to extend the sale price to me since that is the price that attracted my attention and which I would be willing to pay but also understand if their answer is no.

If that’s how they act before you pay, I wouldn’t trust them after I paid

Could be where they show a low price to get you there but than you get there and there are only the more expensive ones. They do it every boxing day by putting up 2 tv’s at the flyer price so they were not lying but than everything else costs more. Or it could be they just ran out of stock on that price point item. Hard to say but I get it is frustrating.

Walmart does that EXACT thing on Black Friday. My GF works there. Its funny, but they need at least 2 of each “sale” item, to be within the constraints of the false advertising law. The week before black friday here is brutal…

Ever wonder why I hate Walmart so much???

As for pricing errors, yes, they aren’t fun when not in your favor, but I won’t make a stink about it. The seller has to eat too, and sometimes its literally “Fat finger” errors…

I’ve seen this crap at Wal-Mart too @Nagel420 funny to hear it from someone on the inside though. Thanks for justifying this for me
