When G Sour first came out, I grabbed 11 packs. Out of those, I hunted 6 packs, and this is where I found the standout pheno—the one I’m calling the best. A cut I hunted from original seeds from Grapefruit Chem × Piff Coast Sour Diesel (PCSD) bred by Piffcoast Farms.
The terps on this one are wild: straight grapefruit up front, backed by lemon, lime, and sour diesel smoke. It’s that sharp, citrus-diesel profile that punches your nose as soon as you crack it, but it smokes smooth with a lingering sour zest. Every hit tastes clean, bright, and layered—like cutting into fresh citrus and then exhaling that diesel funk.

The Effects
This pheno is special because of the balance of effects. A lot of sativas can be racy, jittery, or push you into overdrive. This one doesn’t.
• Relaxation: Out of the “relaxing sativas,” this sits firmly on the relaxing side. It hits you with a calm, steady wave—not heavy, but mellow and grounding.
• Mental clarity: Keeps your head clear and lifted, without anxiety or mental clutter. Perfect for thinking, writing, or creative flow without losing focus.
• Body: Light body relaxation—almost like your muscles unclench a bit. Not sedative, but calming enough to take the edge off.
• Comparison: If Dessert Delight is on the energy side while still relaxing, then G Sour is the opposite—relaxing first while still a sativa. Exactly how I said it.
It’s basically the perfect strain if you want a daytime smoke that doesn’t make you overactive, or a night smoke that doesn’t lock you to the couch. Very versatile, but the personality of this cut leans toward chill.

Distribution
I wanted to get this cut in the right hands, so I’ve already shared it around:
• I sent an eighth to Piffcoast Farms, which should be arriving tomorrow.
• I also sent 2.8 g to Tradewind Seed Co., the breeder behind Grapefruit Chem, which was crossed with Piffcoast Sour Diesel to make this line possible.
I want the people who laid the foundation for this strain to experience what came out of my hunt.

Closing Thoughts
I’ve always believed you have to hunt deep to find the gems, and this proves it. Six packs in, eleven packs total bought, one winner standing out. And this pheno is it. The flavor, the smooth sour citrus smoke, and the relaxing-yet-sativa high—it’s exactly the kind of balance that makes a strain unique.
This is my keeper from G Sour. I’ll keep running it to see how consistent she stays, but already I can say: this is one of the best relaxing sativas I’ve ever smoked.

PSA from Purple Flamethrower 9/4/25:
I do not condone snitching in any form — ever.
If you’re in this game and you’re folding under pressure, you were never real to begin with.
And let it be known:
Piff Coast Farms is no longer respected in my circle.
That energy don’t belong near this plant or this culture.
