Germinating white seeds?

I’ve got some extra bag seed and some of it are small white seeds. My research says these usually don’t germ.

Well I’m trying to pop them cause why not.

I did a 1% hydrogen peroxide soak for 18 hours then into a damp paper towel in a bag kept at 78*

Still no tap root after 3 days. The side of the seed has what looks like a swollen line. The seed started turning darker today but it’s still hard and not moldy.

Any tips? When should I call it and see what’s inside them?

You could just throw it on some soil and forget about it. Not much else to do.

Thanks, that’s a cool test.

The very end they say white seeds are often mistaken for green immature seeds.

I think they were more green than white now that I think about it

White seeds can pop provided they are sufficiently mature.
