Day 56, only 2 more weeks to go on this run. Need to get next one set up. Im done hand watering, plus the yield from the Octopots is so much better, I am waiting on the pots to finish up so I can reload them.
Going to run 4 pots, coming from clone again. 1 spot is going to the new Gorilla Glue JW cut, the other three I have not decided upon yet. I took some cuts today, so they shall root by the time the flower room comes down and be ready to be thrown right into the Octo’s .
Took cuts off Razor(1) Orange Goji #2 (1) Amnesia Haze (1) and i cut each form the 3 un sexed OHGA cross I made so since GG JW gets a slot, that leaves 3 slots ope, and 6 cuts rooting…hmmmmm,lol.
Thinking the better looking of the Razor/OG2 , FOR SURE at least 1 OHGA, assuming at least one is female , and the Amnesia Haze .
For my records: Cuts taken this afternoon. Usual manner, using Coco as medium however, out of Raid Rooters.
1/4 strength TVF in the rez water.
GG4’s have dome off full time, day 7 today of rooting, did not see roots yet, plants looking like they are about to struggle, they will throw roots in next 2 days I would guess.
Some leaf’s cut on the clones, but only so they fit better and do not overlap much
Rpp in flower room 2 is getting huge! her one top cola, now that the light has been raised, has stopped “tailing” and gotten PHAT!!! Seems to have really packed it on in week 8
Amnesia Haze was really affected by the close light. top 1/3 of her is still foxing out, and she has thrown funky oblong Buds that I have not seen before. She did not care for the heat/intensity at all!!!
Orange Goji…DUH…getting silly. Every bud is over a foot long, all getting fat sticky n stinky. They are all getting the lean and one nice Cola branch was found snapped in 2 today, so I get an early 56 day sample of Razor!
Silver Fields…not sure what to think on her. She is huge, her main branch is an easy 2.5 foot long thing of beauty , but not too much smell yet. She is sticky however so there is hope, lol.
Razor and the RPP are sucking 3 gallons a day now full time. Filled up today, next fill up I am cutting back on the PPM a bit. Not on my ratio, gonna hit them 1 more time with 1/4/4, but at a PPM of maybe 400 or so. They have all they need right now, and growth could not be much better.
I turned them too large. Other than growing into the light, they are all going to be laying all over each other next week end.
Orange Goji is gonna go 8 ounces or more, RPP is gonna be close to her, and Amnesia Haze will bring up the rear, lol.
Hey @ifish they are responding REALLY WELL to the 1/4/4 for the last 2 weeks. Blew up this week, bud is being made.
Only hit them once over 500 PPM, seems if I “ratio” correctly, the PPM is a non issue. Have not gone over 1 teaspoon per gallon but that 1 time, thinking it was not even necessary. The slow steady 500 PPM acts like my old hydro days of hitting them at 1500 PPM!!! Slow n steady is winning this race, and next run will be all low PPM again, but every day .
Upped the ratio for that 1 week to 1/2/2 and no more “fading” has been seen. Thinking unless I cut them off, I might not see much, or they are just waiting a bit longer before they really start.
This was the 1st run where I kept “momentum” going forward the entire run! What a difference. You are so tuned in man, the plant responds much better at the steady ramp as opposed to whacking the shit out of them, and the “YO YO” feeding schedules of past. Had I not watched it with my own eyes, and seen the difference in Bud the "momentum " all forward you taught me has had, I am not sure I would believe it.
So funny in the Megacrop thread one user told me how dumb I was because all the excess N in the plant will be lost in the drying / curing process…lol. NO CLUE that is not even close to what I meant, you know what I meant.
The difference the npk % ratio makes is night/day. You have been so correct, I just want to thank you for helping me down this path. I would otherwise be just making fluffy buds . The size/quality/density of my Buds has gone from what I thought was good, to what i now know is good!!!
Having a hard time getting good pics in there, let me try a few lights out and see if I can get a few good shots.
