I’ve accidentally received ghost OG from an Aficionado order mix up (I ordered Sour Diesel Wing-Wang and got 707 Headband/Ghost OG/1996 Albany Sour Diesel) but i’m not too familiar with this specific cut from Aficionado.
I did some light reading about Ghost OG and found that it is the exact same cut as the Josh D OGKS. Meanwhile Aficionado’s Ghost OG comes from @thehomeyjon on instagram.
Is thehomeyjon’s cut an S1 of the original Ghost OG or is it the actual Ghost OG cut but just from @thehomeyjon?
I also recently learned of the difference between Josh D OGKS and Josh D OG (Josh D OGKS x SFV bx.) Do both the Josh D OGKS and Josh D OG throw out only 3 leaflets or is it only one of them?
The Josh D OG(KS?) cut I have throws out only three leaflets.
Edit: The three leaflets might be from my light being low as everything is in the clone/quarantine tent with the light set at 20% atm. Though I do have a Gaby Sour Diesel, Josey Wales GG4, and '91 Chemdog, along side it throwing a normal amount of leaflets.
I’m almost positive Ghost og and joshes cut are different if grown side by side , ghost og grows mostly three fingers but will grow fives when happy. Joshes grows fives as well…
I have ghost og and haves shared a bunch of pictures and information on here , i should hopefully be able to share pics the josh d cut come December.
There is also the josh d seed line from karma that was a collab with him and his further worked og kiss line that backcrossed to his original cut a few more times.

Nice the one I got from Aficionado is throwing out fives so she must be happy. It’s recovering in the humidity dome pretty quickly.

@sober I have read that statement from Josh and I have the ghost og from orgnkid, if you read more of his posts you will find him acknowledging they are different and that the ghost must have changed over time in other peoples hands. You’re on the edge of a huge rabbit hole honestly , there are a couple long threads on here about the ghost cut and og kush in general. Joshes cut has distinctly different fanleafs and that can be seen when looking through his pictures. It stacks better and there are other differences. Maybe they are the same and I’m thinking about it to much but I’m not alone in this.
The 92og i I have is supposed to be the same as joshes cut if you read threw his posts you will see him telling me that . How ever if that is true it and the ghost cut are nothing alike at all so im getting a cut from one of joshes friends i know has it and will be
comparing over the coming winter and spring.
Damn wish I could’ve seen it I was only able to pull that image from the other Ghost OG thread during some light digging while I was trying to learn about it.
That makes me glad I have both then. I’ll get to experience first hand how far the drift has gone.

Now I really wish I could see his IG. Would’ve loved to check out the leaf morphology and familiarize myself with it.

Surely one of the best ways to go about it I’ll definitely set your thread on watch for sure curious to see whether the Josh D leans closer to your 92 or the ghost. I’ll throw a Ghost & Josh D comparison on here once they’re in flower as well. I’m sure we’ll have similar results.
Yeah it’s lame joshes original account got deleted. The ghost og and the josh should be the same orgnkid got clones back from Josh I believe around 2016 and I picked up ghost og from somebody orgnkid told me he gave it to that was closer to me then him not long after.
The thing is they look a lot different to me but different environments and conditions can cause that.
Several other people have grown them side by side and seem to think they are different but it’s hard to say if they had a legit ghost and josh cut , I know my ghost cut is what orgnkid has always called ghost og , I’m getting a cut of og kush that I can verify is joshes cut here In December so I will be growing them out side by side in the spring.
I’m sure you have noticed but what you have as josh and ghost look like different plants , to me it seems the tags may gotten reversed but again different environments bring out different traits.
Yup that’s why I was wondering if the tag thehomeyjon cut aficionado added was to separate it from Ghost OG and to tell everyone it’s a S1. The moment I learned they were supposed to be the same cut I thought there’s no way it doesn’t even look the same. I started questioning if the josh d I have is Josh D OG or Josh D OGKS or something else completely if it was supposed to be the same exact cut.
His IG would’ve been really helpful to help me figure it out.

I have a thread on here called 92 og Bruce banners mother with some info on that cut,
I have a thread called og kiss documenting the og kiss beans from Josh , it’s slow going as they are in veg still and need to be bigger before I bother flowering them.
That’s what was making me say it looked like your clone tags got switched some how , I saw the same thing.
The 92 will grow seven fingers even 9 sometimes the ghost is almost always 3s and a few 5s I feel like I have seen a seven once or twice outside , I have one outside now I’ll check tomorrow.
The 92 roots easy and grows thicker stems, the ghost is a finicky plant all around but awesome and vigorous when dialed in.
The 92 hardly ever grows more then five fingers inside , environment and light intensity make a huge difference though.
I’m definitely more confused now than when I started this thread lmao. At this point i’d have to get both of them directly from ghost and josh d and run a four way comparison.
I’ll definitely keep an eye out for problems if she’s finicky. So far she’s been pretty chill to clone. Tossed her in the aeroponic cloner and got roots in about 10ish days. Definitely is thinner stem wise but I think I should be able to knock that out with a strong enough light.
