I had to restart my phone on Christmas to get the site to load up. Now when I click on a reply and it jumps up to the original comment there is no back button and if I scroll quickly it will skip all the way to the end of the thread whether that’s ten posts down or 1000.
This has been driving me crazy the last 3-4 days

Yeah it sucks trying to find where I was again on some older longer journals.

I use chrome on mobile. So when I scroll up to older posts the back button doesn’t pop up in the bottom right corner like it used to. Are you seeing that?

It is if I remember to check post number I’m on it’ll be acceptable. I just never look first because the back button made it easier to jump right back. It’s not ruining the site just making me pay attention.

That shit has been soooo frustrating!!! I’ve been going through some of the bigger threads recently and it happens very often and I forget where I’m at and have to do my best to remember where I was… I’m not good at it

It happens to me too when I’m scrolling down a thread, and the next posts are loading in. It’ll load the new posts but jump me back up to the post I entered the thread on (if I had been there before, if not, it’ll take me to the top of the thread)

Seems to happen a lot if scrolling past a few photos looking for a particular post for me most often. I have seen this on a phone mostly IIRC

Yeah I only use OG on my iPhone so I can back that up 100%. Back when I used it on my PC that wouldn’t really happen

Regarding Glitchy scrolling:
The issue involves a scrolling problem while navigating through a long topic, where the loading of more posts causes the screen to suddenly jump to the last post in the topic. This happens frequently, especially when scrolling quickly, and sometimes results in the replies loading continuously until the last post is reached.
Developer’s response is that there will be a complete rewrite of the post scrolling feature sometimes this year. So we have to be patient.

Yeah im casually scrolling through the middle of a 3800 post thread and it constantly kicks me to the end of the thread. This happens with every thread that i read.
Also if my finger lands on the likes, all the likes appear and i cant scroll.
Its annoying and it’s causing me to stop reading threads at all. Which will probably knock me back down to member again.
So i will patiently wait until its fixed

Also, I’m not sure if the “hit boxes” are too big… It acts like I hit the link button instead of the heart constantly. Does anyone else notice that? Or am I just dumb?

Scrolling up when the glitch happen will cancel it out. Only skipping a dozen posts instead of 3k.
Edit:
It would appear that og loads 20 posts at a time, scrolling up seem to bring you at the end of the first loaded 20.
This happens quite fast, but its what im seeing

There was an update earlier today. From several reports it seems that the scrolling issue has been solved.

Can confirm the scrolling issue has been corrected for me.
I know reply is late but wanted to say thanks to all involved. That issue was a PITA!
