this will be my first Growroom-Diary. It will also my first real Growroom with a room for veg & cloning and one room for flower.
Today i finished the setup of the veg-room. I am running my old Vipar Spectra V600 (20h/4h) which should be enough for what i want to do. I also have my “cloning station” and a tent for flowering males in that room.
Right now i have 6 Tropical Poison F1 Fast, 5 Purple Punch OG and 1 Mental Rainbow (all strains FEM Sweet Seeds) in 10L Fabric Pots. I also popped 2 seeds of my first breeding project “Kubricks Gold” (Malawi Gold x Iranian Landrace, both therealseedscompany) just to see what comes out of it this time.
My next breeding project is a cross between Zamal (Landrace from the island of Le Reunion) and the Syrian Landrace. My goal is to shorten the very long flower time of the Zamal and to keep the psychoactive traits of this sativa. My last 4 seeds of Syrian are already in germination and i am expecting my Zamal-Seeds in the next few days.
My flower room is not ready yet. I still have to hang two Solux Vega Pro LED 720W and an old hazelbox-LED Light (DONT BUY THIS CLOSET!!!) which has an air filter build inside.
I am fully organic with Insect Frass, EM, Glacier Rock Dust and Banana Peels.
so… i am really excited and can’t wait to send my girls to flower. Stay tuned!
That’s cool. I read your intro i also used to follow the dude from vegas since we were both new to growing but he went the commercial ruderalis route with mostly empty space in his tents.
Nothing beats good old research and self learning.
Those Syrians and some Iranian landraces flower with over 12 hours day time. I used solar lights and noticed my half bastard flowered right away when removing them last week of August.
How did they grow for you before?

The iranian plants had no problems, stayed in veg and i found a beautiful stocky male with big green leaves. He had the pleasure to polinate my malawi gold.
The syrians sometimes go to flower under 18/6 so i am running a 20/4-Cycle to prevent that. It is indeed a bit autoflowery. I bought all those landraces from TheRealSeedCompany.
Love this iranian plant. Sadly I lost all my mothers and pops when i had to evacuate them in two tents at my moms cellar three years or so ago. She gave them water & food but i forgot to tell her that she had to heat the room during winter. All plants froze to death. My mistake.
I few pics from me. The veg-Room is all set but i am still waiting for my second Solux Vega Pro LED 720W. I also need some fans and an air cleaner for the flower room. Today I had to remove two fridges from this room. Not so much fun.

Another Update on my grow:
The Tropicana Poison looks good. The Purple Punch is a mixed bag with a half nice dark green leaves and the other half a bit lighter in colour and shorter.
I killed the two Kubrick’s Gold because they were going into the sativa direction and i want to find the more indica like phenos. That said i am now germinating around 20 seeds from KG. I also try to germinate 12 Highland Lao #2 (therealseedcompany.com). Some of those seeds are trying to pop in my little tiny greenhouse, the others are in small papertowels. Good thing is that the flowering room is also the boiler room. It is a build-in cozy heatmat.
I am still waiting for my syrian to show up. maybe tomorrow.
In other news: i installed the second growlight in the flower room. Now i wait for the ventilation to arrive.
It was not the only guy going upstairs. Three seeds from the Higland Lao #2 (freebie with 10 to 20 % germination rate years ago threalseedcompany.com) germinated and went straight in the little cups.
I also tried to germinate at least two packs or so of the mysterious freebie “Afghan Mix” (also therealseedcompany). I planted the last three seeds after days in a soaked papertowel just in litte pot of dirt … and one cracked.
