Nice setup Nitro. I don’t know how you keep up with 40 plants in general, that sounds like a full time job.

Time for some Nitro Cookies
1 cup granulated Sugar
4-8 grams of Rosin ( I usually do 6 )
1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons Lard
1 large egg
1/4 cup Molasses
2 cups of flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon Ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon ground ginger
1/2 tablespoon ground cloves
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground nutmeg
sugar for dusting, large crystal if possible

Step one. decarbing the rosin…

put the rosin in a small glass container, large enough for the rosin and a few tablespoons of lard, then take a small frying pan and put some cooking oil in the pan, then put the glass bowl with the rosin inside the pan… turn on medium heat and watch the rosin melt, stir gently… you will see the rosin start to bubble which is what we want, then after a couple of minutes you will see the big bubbles subside and only tiny little bubbles will appear when you stir it… this is where you want to be and time to remove from heat. if you keep heating you will notice the edible has more of a sedative effect rather then a get high effect .

  1. Add the 2 tablespoons of lard to the hot rosin…stir it in… I use a couple drops of lethichin too … just a tiny bit.
2 Put the sugar and lard in a bowl, add the rosin mixture… mix thoroughly. till its whipped… I use a stand mixer
  2. Add the egg and the Molasses, whip thoroughly .
  3. In a separate bowl mix the flour and the remaining ingredients/spices
  4. Now add the flour/spice mixture into the lard/sugar …mix thoroughly

Now separate into 8 gram balls… then toss into a bag of sugar for dressing… cook for 10 minutes at 350… I cook on convection myself

this will produce about 80-90, 8 gram cookies…each cookie hits like a mack truck… comparable to a commercial 100MG but with a cleaner effect… edibles from Rosin are far superior to edibles made from butter soaking trim…

how tall do you think your plants are? and how do you keep those arms from falling do you build a grid or just stake as needed?

tallest plant is 5’8" … I have a special technique to cage my plants… I use hot glue and install a stake in each corner of the pot, then I use wire to create like ring ropes to hold the plant in… it works fantastic and keeps the plants facing upwards and allows for a larger heavier plant in a smaller pot

@Nitro, can you be more detailed about your nutes? GH has a few “Base Nutrient” product lines, including their 3 part GH Flora series and their 2 part GH FloraNova series, on top of which they have about 10 additional products for various stages of bloom, and various purposes. It sounds like you like to keep it simple, which I love to hear - but just how simple?

here is a pic of a caged plant… I make ring posts with the stakes, then I make ring ropes to hold the plant in

I use the standard 3 part( Green, Purple, Pink ) …mixxed 3,2,1… Ec 1.8-2.0 PH I dont even bother with half the time, tap water… then I use some Jacks CalcNit, Drip Clean , CalMag… thats it… pure coco… plants are always wet, small pots keep them from drowning …I pull 4-5 ounce plants from a 2 gallon pot all day long

Really nice grow. You have definitely piqued my interest regarding the use of currently available LED grow lights. I have been watching the evolution of LED technology for at least 10 years now. Thus far I have only used HPS and MH and for veg and flowering. I have used (floro.) T8s and T5s as well as CFLs and cheapo screw in LEDs for clones and seed starting.
Lower electric bills for efficient indoor lights has my trigger finger getting real itchy to make the switch to SolStrip type lighting. Thanks for inspiring me to make a change, as I am old and set in my ways.

thank you ! I think the trend today is towards brighter more single source lights but I think the more moderate output better coverage is a better way to go…

the Growshop industry would have your believe the secret to massive crops is chemicals and supplements but it isn’t true at all … outside of lights the #1 factor is environment and carbon . not the easiest problem to solve which is why the stores make a fortune selling “products”

I took a calculated risk with these lights and had a substantial learning curve, but yes in the end the results aren’t even comparable… especially noticeable in a compact setting like mine, in a wide open warehouse setup I’d still roll HID …but indoor with odd shapes and lower ceiling heights LED smokes HID…
