And I feel like I should elaborate a little bit. All the plants do fine in it in veg but some plants want more in flower I noticed

Gonzo I’ll help guide ya on the organic nutrients if you’d like. Try it out man! It can be better! Here’s my favorite tea recipe. It will make them go gang busters. Buy barley seed, soak 24 hrs then drain, wrap in a wet rag or piece of towel and let sprout, after this blend up in blender, I like to throw an aloe frawn in with the barley when I blend it. This has all kind of enzymes plus nitrogen that’s plant avaible and will cause explosive growth. Soak this in water for a few hours and agitate. I use air stones or you can put it it a net produce bag you can get off Amazon for super cheap or just water it all in, the ground up seeds will break down. I sometimes massage the bag until I leach all the goodies out. Then add bioAG fulvic acid- this will help all the goodies be more plant available. Lastly add Agisil16 Silica to PH the tea between 6-7. Shoot for 6.5. Silica is an often overlooked nutrient that is very important. A little goes a very long ways. It works good for PH up to combat the SST seed sprouted tea, which can be acidic.
Next tea I’d recommend is worm castings and kelp. I have a bunch of info I can send ya if you’d like. You can bubble it with a fish tank aquarium and air stone or just mix and let everything leach out for a day then water. The air stone helps multiply the beneficial microorganisms in the mix. Worm castings will help keep your soil balanced and the good bacteria from them will out compete the bad stuff. Plus they’re full of plant available nutrients.
Lastly for now… haha, insect frass is really good stuff, you can soak it, bubble it, and use that for a fertilizer too. It’s a good one for flower.

Plants are growing very nice, great job @Gonzo. How long are you going to veg for?

Depends I guess on size I’d like them to be 50% bigger before flip. I’m guessing another 2 weeks?

I also need to get some good/easy/cheap preventative IPM sprays going. Any suggestions there?

Yea I have been using Monterey for preventative, was recommended by @ColeLennon, seems to be working great

Same here, along with some Mosquito bits.
But I do keep some Captain Jack’s concentrate around just in case.

I don’t get very many. Coco helps in 30 gallon pots and I lolli pop high. Yard guys come and weed eat and mow they blow a few bugs my way. Predator spiders and lady bugs get most. If I see more than one munching on my shit. Monterey and my Solo.

I usually steep a tea. Put a good handful in a nylon stocking and let it sit in a jug of water for a day or two. Then do a soil drench.
I have also mixed granules into the soil mix before potting. And I’ve thrown granules in the saucers and bottom watered also.
Yes, I had a serious outbreak once, lol.
Use yellow sticky traps to take care of the adults. The solution watered in will kill the larvae. Easy fix. Fast results!

(SSDD F2 BX1) Two week update

And I broke out the trellis. It makes watering, top dressing, trimming & everything else a pain in the butt. But, it levels the canopy, gets more light to branches & supports the plant I guess :+1:

I haven’t flipped yet (will this weekend) so I expect I may need a second trellis net for support after stretch? Any tips welcome!
