Good news everybody! MORE Act. Will it pass in the Senate?

The post above answers those questions but, to clarify, content that drives or adds to a conversation is what is of value and will ‘naturally’ rise to the top as community members engage.

‘Bumping’ a post repetitively, in short order while adding little to further the discourse, does not add value to the discussion and does not encourage others to engage. Rather, it clutters the topic and the resulting community interaction will slow or cease entirely.

Keep your OP alive with new related content, news on the OP, analysis, etc. Compelling content will attract others to respond and will ‘bump’ this thread naturally.

So, if you will refer to the post above you might imagine I have been giving the topic some serious thought. Indeed, I have been, that is the reason for the delayed update .

Anyway, I want weed to be legalized by a 28th amendment.
What are others opinions on this? 28th amendment or more act? I feel an amendment would pass…just gotta bribe those nra guys in the red states so everything goes smoothly…:beers:.

Anywho…this is a big topic so am pondering…
The NRA has an income of $250 million a year…

My basic views…28th amendment allowing growth in the domicile, possession, and designated areas of sale.

A national weed market, or the commiditization of it should be put to a national vote in the future…

Further if a marijuana market is established in the usa, the usa would be taking a leading role in the global marijuana market…this is good for business.

But legalization has to be done the right way, ensuring that the citizens rights are upheld and reaffirmed.

Didn’t the NRA just declare bankruptcy? I’m sure we could grease a few palms and get them to give a nod and a shit eating grin :joy:.

Thats what im talking about man !
Yeah i believe i did read that recently…they also relocated their headquarters.

Ya know canada (our neighbors to the north), should legalize home grows and possession/consumption. Then when america follows suit and eventually passes the vote on the COMMODITIZATION of marijuana, north america will have the 2 models for study…

Further, if a multinational farming collective/corporation is ever formed, because of the legality of marijuana in canada regional distribution would be contained because various countries would either use the farming collective, reaping its economic benefits, or continue to use home growing and designated areas of sale. Hopefully with that model everyone can be satisfied.

Brass tax…its all about the legality of marijuana sales. Or that is what it used to be. Hemp has always been legal and remains legal to grow and possess.
the war on drugs created a hypocritical system in that you can grow hemp for your chickens at home but you cant sell your hash. Hemp or seeded weed is legal, unseeded weed is illegal. Id assume the basis for this current institution is to prevent money from ending up in the hands of criminals.

If we act quickly I’ve got the perfect plan to get nation wide legislation. Someone bribe the cheeto to say that would be the worst thing to ever happen and with the hatred those in power now have for him boom passed in minutes! Just look letting people starve to go after him instead of helping the people, let’s use that to our advantage lol

Right and if you get the orange antichrist in on saying it’s bad they will do the exact opposite. Hell they repealed EOs to help stop child trafficking because his name was on it. Hell let’s get something out of the partisan bullshit.

I think that if weed came to a 28th amendment its passage would have the most difficulty in traditionally conservative states but i may just be being stereotypical. With the nra on the side of the passage of a 28th amendment, it would pass.

Once you realize they are all lying out both sides of their mouth and learn to do the same you have a chance at playing their game. Got to know the rules to the game if you’re gonna play. Or pull a Capt Kirk and change the rules to your favor

The whole thing is bullshit anyway. They are freaking out about taxing it.

The main point is that people can grow and smoke it without persecution.

Plus the whole thing is practically semantics.

Adding amendments is a slippery slope sir. If the language in the amendment isn’t solid as say the 1 or 2 a then it could go very bad for us as amending it would require a convention of the states which opens up the amending of the entire constitution. With the current political climate that would be a very very very bad thing. That is obvious by some in government wanting anyone that thinks differently removed from office.

What does removing it from the scheduled drugs list do?
I know the implication but more specifically what does it entail. What is different about something on the scheduled drugs list verse something that isnt.

Well if it is removed from the controlled substances list it’s no longer illegal, more like alcohol then. But alas it’s not legal to distill your own spirits so there is that. Make all the beer and wine ya want. Wonder how growing at home would be handled? Probably wouldn’t want people to grow at home because they can’t tax that just like with distilled spirits

Haha well you can make booze you just cant sell it. Which is where we are at now. But it would be a giant step forward.

A clarification if you will… There would still need to be the explicit stipulation that the citizen can grow and possess without persecution.

I have been watching some weed comedy on you tube and it struck me. Maybe part if the reason we don’t have legal weed yet is because the senators are all stoned off their hemp. They are just too high and lazy to do it… Yeah cuz weed makes you lazy… well maybe…
Plus it is legal in DC anyway…

Ok so finally. When the marijuana is legalised/descheduled , just tax it at the designated sales area and if people sell it “out of their house”, make it a matter of taxes and the IRS can handle it.

And obviously a citizens can grow as much as they want in their house.

:stars::zap::stars:

There is a flaw with that plan. The IRS technically doesn’t have any law enforcement power. They have learned over the years you threaten people with taking their stuff they lay down and allow you have a smaller amount stolen from you without a fight
