GooseGrows Flood and Drain in a 4x4 Tent Under QBs

hello folks, i’ve lurked here for a bit and thought i would share my current run here.

i run fabric pots of pure canna coco in flood and drain under a qb600h. i use jacks hydro w/ the 3:2:1 formula, and am flowering this run using veg+bloom. if i see an improvement i will continue to veg with jacks and flower with v+b.

here is the tent the other day. inside the tent right now are an og kush and mk ultra from clone and two las vegas triangle kush from seed (cannaventure seeds) this was day 14 of 12/12.

sorry for the spam posting, but i can only attach a single image per post.

this was the sole female from a total of 8 regular beans we ran. cookies n chem from greenpoint seeds. didn’t take cuts so had to reveg her. she grew up just about enough for cuttings before dying from neglect due to my partner having his first born and me being out of town. sucks because it was the strongest smoke we’ve ever grown, but there are always new things to be found!

incredibly potent with a really nice creamy chem smell and flavor. was going to have it tested next time we grew her out too, because she hit like a truck.

thanks guys for stopping in and the good vibes!:punch:

going to pump/dump today and then mix a new reservoir after cleaning. the veg+bloom seems to be keeping the plants happy, but it leaves a powdery residue on my flood table when it dries between floods which concerns me. doesn’t seem to be having any negative impact on the plants, but i will be changing out and cleaning weekly to be safe. i will definitely be doing a clearex flush right before i start dialing the nute strength back for flush

i recently came into possession of a local hindu kush clone that i have loved for years with a super heavy kush and armpits smoke. i had my buddy have his friend let the grower know that it was one of my favorite cuts i’ve ever smoked, coming from another grower. the guy responded by gifting me a cut. i don’t know who you are unknown growmie, but thank you so much. i will make great use of it!

i was able to take 11 good cuts from the teen he gifted me. at least 5 of those have roots out of the rapid rooters a week later, so i may be potting some of those up today as well.

nothing exciting to show today. scrubbed everything and mixed fresh nutes. i increased the strength of the v+b and also started with ~50ppm of calmag. i start with ~12ppm tap water. one of the lvtk plants looked mag deficient so hopefully that takes care of it.

i potted 6 of the hindu kush cuttings that had all rooted as well. i like cloning in the warm weather. it sucks for me in the winter when the room is always cold. hopefully get the heat mat dialed in this year. only 6/11 have roots through the plug after 10 days with the room sitting colder than ideal for cloning. will start running the heater in the near future and likely the dehumidifier as well.

clones go straight into 3.5" or 4.5" pots of pure canna coco and under a little qb65. they’re hand-watered almost daily

mostly a veg maintenance day today.

went 13/13 on the clones it took recently. even the 2 small cuttings that i just tossed into a shot glass of solution from the res rooted, and in just over 2 weeks! i’ve never had cuttings root that fast using the shot glass method.

they’re all potted up now. a lot of these will go to friends who are giving growing a try with legalization a month away. we will probably run at least a couple of these next round as well.

the flower tent is chugging along. 3/4 are happy as can be. 1 of the LVTK is whining about magnesium. i started with ~50ppm of calmag when it was filled this time. i will bump that to 100ppm next time i dump and hopefully that keeps that plant happy.

stretchy LVTK pheno. this one prays to the light. she’s a happy girl.

this is the slightly unhappy pheno. much squatter than the other one and flowering more quickly.

few more shots from the past few days.

this was a few days past 3 weeks since flip

and here are a few closer shots from earlier today.

mk ultra i believe

and this is the lvtk that was previously upset with the lack of mag she was getting (someone may have forgotten to add calmag the first few times using the v+b, but idk who that could be…) she’s happier now.

things are mostly just on cruise control for the next 6 weeks or so now. i potted up a few more clones that had rooted today. those will go to a friend soon. also gave my brother in law a few cuts to play with. also took cuts from one of the lvtk clones that was outgrowing the area so i could kill off the larger plant for the space. we’ll see within the next couple months if either of these is worth a second grow.
